"I just don't see how anyone could love me," Remus replied. It had always been like that. It was his father who ingrained those thoughts in his head in the first place. his father would say that he could never get close to anyone, or they would get hurt. And so far? James is dead, Sirius was locked away for 12 years, and Peter betrayed them. Lily is dead, and Tonks... well who knows what could happen to her now. His father would say that even if he fell in love no one would love him back except for him and his mother. But he was beginning to think that his father was wrong. That maybe someone could love him. It was a stretch, but what could anyone possibly love about him? His charming good looks? His quiet attitude full of enjoying books and hiding away the person James and Sirius loved the best, the one who helped them out with their pranks? Oh, no he knew what one could love, it must be his ability to push people away and keep them away for so long.
Remus quickly mounted his broom and zoomed out. "I am pretty sure that the passage they were blocking leads to the Astronomy Tower," Remus stated pointing up to a tower nearby. It was boggling him at the moment, what could they possibly want up there? Something just didn't feel right.

"Oh please, you're a nice person.. You just have to look past the outer shell. Like candy. With chocolate, there could be orange, raspberry, strawberry, fudge filling, but you won't know know what the filling is untill you try it." Sophie said with her arms crossed. She had to keep him talking, she might even have to fake a cursed broom to keep him away from the top of the tower.
"Right, but we need to find a way to let everyone up stairs. We have to get rid of the barrier so Tonks, Teddy and everyone else can get up there too." Sophie said rubbing her temple. She was starting to get a head ache from this battle. "Let's get this over with so I can take a nap.."

"I don't want to talk about this right now," Remus stated looking up at the Astronomy Tower, swearing he had just seen a sliver of silver hair one of the windows. He couldn't let himself wonder about it nor talk about his personal life right now. "I'll talk with Nymphadora about it later." He felt safe using her real name because Tonks wasn't around.
"The way I see it we have two choices, blast through the wall there," Remus said pointing to the side of the tower, "We'd come out near the barrier and behind it. Or we could go up to the top of the Astronomy Tower, avoid too much damage to Hogwarts, but risk walking in the middle of whatever their doing alone." Remus was staring up at the Astronomy Tower and couldn't help but flinch in surprise when something, too long to be a rock, flew out of the tower. It almost looked like a... person? No, that couldn't be, who, other than the Death Eaters were up there? It couldn't be a person. Maybe afterwards they could find out, but right now they had to come up with a way to get the others on the other side of the barrier.
"What the bloody hell was that!" Remus exclaimed looking towards Sophie to see if she had any ideas. He had a feeling that if it weren't for Sophie and Teddy he'd be stuck somewhere in the castle, having not witnessed this, mostly Sophie because she'd come with him. He'd probably not have left Tonks' side if Teddy wasn't there, because he trusted Teddy to keep her safe... if at all possible given Nymphadora's attitude about being protected. "We've got to hurry, which one should we do, blast or go up there!" He said it with urgency not wanting to wait any longer.

"Alright, alright.." Sophie shook her head laughing, "I'll laugh when she steps around the corner and tell you off for that.." She looked at the tower, they needed to go NOW, or else they we're going to be there for the rest of the battle.
"Through the window! Go go go!" Sophie said speeding toward the window, "Reducto!" and the window burst. "Hogwarts can be fixed. When you're in a hurry, sometimes the reckless way is ths best way." She sped up to the window and jumped off the broom turning into a dog and started growling. No one was there, but Dumbledore had just fallen, they had to be rushing down the stairs.
She morphed back and looked at Remus, "I-I have no idea what that was, but I have a feeling that we need to get into the heart of this battle. My brother and Tonks are still down their fighting." She charged down the staircase with her wand at the ready. As soon as she reached the base of the steps, she shouted, "Come on Remus! We need you down here!" Right after that, she blocked a spell that could've frozed her. She shot a spell back and scanned the area to find her brother. She stepped in something as she moved forward, and looked down. It was blood. She started to lose it, she didn't know who's it was and was afraid to find out. She saw a body lying on the ground not to far away and she felt as thought she were going to puke, it was horrible! She tuned around with a protection spell around her, and couldn't hold it in any longer. She puked on the floor, she couldn't take the magled body's look..

"Ok, ok let's go!" Remus said hurrying after her who was acting extremely quickly. He couldn't get the image of whatever it was falling out of his head. But he couldn't let himself dwell on it. This was even more serious than before. Now Tonks and Teddy were in big trouble, especially since he wasn't there to make sure they were alright, not that they really needed him, him being there would've given him peace of mind.
Remus heard her call as he ran down the stairs; she was younger and faster than him so she was ahead o him. Remus ran passed her as she stood looking at the body before her. Remus looked back seeing her puke. He thought about running ahead to get to Teddy and Tonks, but he knew he couldn't just let her stare at the mangled body. "Come on!" Remus said running back, firing curses at a few others who were escaping. Remus was able to run through her shield with a spell that would only let him through, nothing else really. "We can't wait up here, we have to find the others," Remus said frantically, trying to keep calm but just thinking of what the Death Eaters could be doing to everyone, and not just Tonks. Teddy, Kingsley, Bill, all of them were somewhere here, and they could be dead or mangled like the body Sophie saw. Remus shot a few more spells before most of the Death Eaters were down the stairs from them. He didn't understand. Why were they retreating?

Sophie kept spitting, she couldn't get the taste out of her mouth. She knew who the body was, it had been Bill. She swallowed and shakey breaths. She closed he eyes, "I have to find Teddy, if I don't I won't be able to face Vicky.. She'll ask questions that I won't have answers to." She nodded, "I'll take the body to Madame Pomphrey((Is that how you spell it???)), she'll know what to do. You find Teddy, I think I can hear Tonks from here." she looked at the body again, "Who do you reckon it is? It looks like a Weasley to me.. The matted red looking hair.. see?"
She felt something coming toward her and shot the cruciartius curse at the on comer. Lucky for her, it was a death eater, she was blocking part of the exit. They writhed in pain. She drew back her wand and let them get up. She wasn't one to hurt people for long, only when she was scared or mad. Sophie felt exausted.. and she sat down, "I need.. a few minutes..."

Remus looked at the body, and she was right; it was a Weasley. He could tell just from the way he looked, even though he looked hardly recognizable. All those Order Meetings... It was Bill, the guy from Gringotts, the Weasley boy who was getting married soon. "Bill," Remus managed to say. "Ok, just make sure you are safe," Remus said looking around to make sure there weren't any more Death Eaters coming, "I'll find Teddy and Nymphadora. Please take care of Bill, he has a fiance to get back to." He really hoped Bill would be fine. It almost look like this was Greyback's doing.
Remus was just about to go when the Death Eater came by and Sophie used the toture curse on him. He let a small smile grow on his face, before turning and leaving Sophie. Don't die, Remus though to himself as he went away from Sophie. It was really weird the connection he felt with Sophie, even if she was somehow some distant cousin of his. She felt like something closer to him, almost like a sister or a child, or something like that.

Sophie took a deep breath and with out touching the body, she took it to the matron of Hogwarts. "Madame! Please, you have to help, we're pretty sure it's Bill. But we're not entirely sure." She said choking on some of the words.
"Oh dear.. Well, we're going to have to clean him up first.. And you're going to need to calm down." Madame Pomphrey said.
"I'm fine, really, I'll be back with everyone else. I think everythings almost over, the Death Eaters are retreating." Sophie said and she took off again. She changed into a dog and tracked her way back, she didn't want to use magic anymore that day. If she was going to harm anyone, she was going to make it look like a police dog attack.
((On to Teddy and Tonks!!!))

Teddy had been waiting, waiting, waiting. Of course he knew something was going to happen soon, and was quite restless the whole time. Dumbledore's life was soon to end. It wasn't long before he knew the deed was done. The Death Eaters charged, and Teddy and everyone else was being pushed back. He knew they were retreating, and in fact he saw Snape run past him with Draco Malfoy. Harry Potter was soon to follow. Of course everyone in the Order trusted Snape because Dumbledore did, and for a good reason. But was he going to reveal Snape's secret? HA! No. It could ruin Snape completely and Voldemort might kill him sooner than he did before. So, no. He wasn't going to reveal it, plus that was Snape's secret to tell, and he would only tell one person besides Dumbledore, Harry.
Teddy was fighting, aiming to maim or seriously injure, but not kill. The Death Eaters were running past fighting them as they ran. That confirmed it. Dumbledore was dead. It really hit Teddy, but he knew that those from this time would be hit even harder, and tried not to dwell on it. He could see his father starting to come towards them, unsure if he had seen them.
He shot a freezing spell at a nearby Death Eater, causing the Death Eater to fall. He began rapidly firing spells at every Death Eater he could, taking down several of them, before getting hit by a stinging jinx causing his face to distort and pain, of course, ensued. He cursed to himself, no longer being able to see very well, slowing down his volley of curses and spells.

Remus caught the sight of Teddy, and was instantly relieved that he was still ok, though he did notice that Teddy looked like he had a stinging jinx hit him. Remus ran up to him and helped fight of the retreating Death Eaters who were now starting across the grounds. What in the world did they do? What had fallen from that tower?
"Teddy, Nymphadora?" Remus managed to say wondering where Tonks was, having yet to see her, though right now it was hard to even look around as the Death Eaters were attacking and he couldn't really focus on looking around.

Tonks heard Remus from the other side of the room, but let him say her name because she had to focus on this Death Eater. She kept shooting stunning spells avoiding others. Then the ceiling started to collapse and she took off hitting the ground just in time to see a piece of rock that might've knocked her out land in front of her. She took off again trying to get to the hospital wing. She was bleeding slightly but it was nothing that couldn't be fixed. When she ran into Sophie whot took her back because she had to find Teddy.

All Teddy could manage to do while in the midst of the fighting was to gesture with his head pointing towards where Tonks was. It was then that the roof collapsed, and a huge chuck of rock had barely hit him, but it still did, creating a cut diagonally down his face, barely missing his eye. Another chunk of rock had fallen a second later, and since he was bend over slightly it hit his back, making him fall to the ground, still conscious, stuck underneath the large rock on his back and now his legs. He couldn't help but let out a yell in pain of being crushed. Since his head and hands were still free, so he continued to fire the spells through the pain.

When Teddy had gestured to where Tonks had been, Remus began running towards her, hoping to protect her, however in mid-stride the roof began collapsing and he had to stop in order to cast a shielding spell in time. He looked back for one second, hearing Teddy yell slightly. He saw the young man nearly crushed beneath a huge part of the ceiling with a large puddle of blood starting to form under his head, but yet he was still fighting. He didn't even have to think about it as he instinctively ran back towards Teddy, casting a shielding barrier around them.
Remus quickly levitated the ceiling piece, and keeled next to Teddy creating a barrier around his body, basically creating a stretcher before levitating it, releasing the shield around them and firing several curses towards the retreating Death Eaters who were thinning. Remus guided the invisible stretcher with Teddy on it out of the battle field, following it soon after.

As Remus created the stretcher for him, he groaned ever so slightly, feeling like his body was on fire with pain even worse than the worst torture curse he had ever felt. He couldn't move anything except for his arms, and his face was being soaked with blood from the cut across his face.
He felt himself being lifted, and forced back a groan of pain, not wanting to see weak. And once the shield was released, he fired a few spells from the position he was in, nonverbally of course. Once Teddy sensed that he was out of the field of fire, he left himself breathe once more, in ragged breathes, but still breathing. "Dad..." Teddy said locking eyes with Remus. At the moment he was delirious and thought he was dreaming. It almost felt like he was in the state where he was about to wake up from a dream, thinking that maybe all of it was a dream.

Remus was trying to hurry at a pace that wouldn't hurt Teddy even more, keeping the stretcher at his side, so Teddy was right next to him. Teddy and he locked eyes, and at the moment Remus gave a reassuring smile before hearing what Teddy had said. He couldn't really mean him, could he? No, Teddy must just be delirious, that is what it had to be. Remus was no father, he was quite sure about that.
"It's ok, Teddy, we're going to get you help," Remus said, ignoring what Teddy had called him, just thinking it was something Teddy had just said in his injured state. Step after step, the journey would seem like it would take forever, unless someone else had come. Why were they retreating? He bet that soon they all will have escaped.
