It's very complicated between those two... Anyways, this is how I see these two, you can add/subtract whatever you prefer: Once Ryuu left the village, he really left any feelings for Manami behind, and doesn't actually care that much for her. He wants to punish those who hated him and used him, so he gives Manami and Hayate the choice (later in the story, we'll see it in it ) to join him, run, or die. But that's the only reason he gives them the choice. (This is just to clear up any confusion between him and Manami, because it does affect how he feels about Reiko). Now that I've said that, Ryuu isn't the kind of person who would make bonds quickly, and he met her when he came to recruit all of the Jinchuriki. He really cares for every single Jinchuriki, because he feels that what he is doing is not only for him, but for them as well. As for Reiko, he really cares about her more than the others, but he doesn't know why. From what you've said, I would think that Reiko loves Ryuu, but doesn't know how to exactly express it. With this, I would think they were pretty good friends, and that she's seen his playful side when around Riku, who he treats as a little brother. Ryuu would do anything to protect her, unless she betrayed him, which then he would be angry, and it may push him to the point of not caring about the other Jinchuriki, and just doing everything for himself, and those who haven't betrayed him, or ever mistreated him. Anyways, that's what I see between those two. Once you have your say and we work out any sort of problem in the relationship, then I'll put it on Ryuu's page

That's accurate. Rieko doesn't believe that love really exists, having never been really shown it as a child. She is tremendously cynical and jaded, so she wasn't very keen on joining Ryuu initially. Knowing her personality, she probably refused him bluntly and told him that idealism is the downfall of great shinobi. That being said, her loyalty to Mari and Kaida knows no limits, and she followed them into the Daichiran.
When she realized that she'd fallen in love with Ryuu, she got scared, which is why she decided to chase that lead on the anti-Jinchuriki weapons herself. Rieko trusts him with her life, but she can't deal with more heartbreak and disappointment than she already has. Losing Asahi (her lover at the time of her initial meeting with Ryuu) hurt her a lot more than she lets on. She doesn't ever fully trust anyone, anymore; she's always waiting for them to hurt her. Of course, she didn't count on the Tsuchikage retaliating and sending assassins after her armed with anti-Jinchuriki weapons and...well, suffice to say, she'll be very embarrassed at how lax her guard got after she wakes from the coma she's currently in.
Another factor in Rieko's odd recent behavior is her eyesight. The reason I always portray her eyes that odd glowing blue in pictures is because she achieved the fully-mature stage of Hanashoubu, which is called Massao (Hanashoubu means dark blue while Massao means deep blue). Massao heightens the ablities granted to her by Hanashoubu but causes her to lose her sight and eventually has the potential to kill her of it is never deactivated because of the strain it puts on her body (Massao uses a lot of chakra). Rieko knows this but decides to get the most usage out of her eyes as she can before losing them without telling Ryuu. When she reestablishes the whirlpool barrier (which was odd in itself because she continues to help the Daichiran as Uzukage and makes sure to keep Uzu's borders open to them, usually), she is already completely blind in her right eye, which was the reason for her hair covering it. It irritates her, and she still hasn't perfected pretending to see on her right side. However, she doesn't want to tell Ryuu all of that. She also didn't want the rest of the Jinchuriki finding out about the Tsuchikage's weapons unless she was unable to stop their production herself.

I really like how this is going. Though when Reiko tells him, I really hope she doesn't expect for him to tell her back. He'd be more likely to say something like, 'Interesting.' or 'Let's just hurry and get out of here.' Something like that. I almost feel bad for her falling for the idealistic, crazy leader of the Daichiran. Anyways, when/if Ryuu finds out about her right eye, he'd be mad that she kept it from him and would insist on her not using her dojutsu in her good eye. Ryuu has never felt that he ever belonged anywhere, and while Team Suzume accepted him, and at one point he loved all of them, he felt it was better to leave and plot the way to get back at those who hated him. He lived in loneliness most of his life, and when they used Manami for him to go into Nine-Tails mode, that was when things started going down the drain. He started viewing everyone as trying to use him, even though Team Suzume didn't really feel that they ever used him, and Manami and Suzume have always lived with the guilt of the one time that they used him in the Battle of the Hidden Rain Village. Ryuu has grown to think that everyone is trying to use him, but holds the hope that perhaps those like him will accept him and not see him as someone who will try and use him for his power. So with Reiko, he feels upset when she leaves the Daichiran, but then at the same time trusts that she knows what she is doing. While Ryuu thinks that it is just that he cares about the Jinchuriki dearly, and wants to protect her no matter what happens, I think that Ryuu also does care for her quite a bit, maybe a little more than he does Riku. Ryuu wouldn't admit it, unless his character develops to the point that he would actually tell her and trust her that much. Ryuu doesn't realize he has any sort of feelings more than caring for her as a comrade probably for a good long time. Riku would also tease both Ryuu and Reiko, as Riku can usually tell what another is thinking, and since he admires and looks up to Ryuu, and the two of them are close, Riku can read Ryuu like an open book, while no one else really can. He'd probably notice something in Reiko too, and might even try to get the two of them together. Oh! I don't know how I keep doing this, but apparently I just created the Raikage as I worked on Kaito's profile and finished said Raikage's profile. His Kekkei Genkai is pretty epic.

Ha! Rieko? Admit to being in love? Not very likely. The closest she'd probably ever get for a long time is something along the lines of "Gee, why did I never tell you the danger of over-using my kekkei genkai? Have you, perhaps, considered that I actually care what you think for some god-forsaken reason and didn't want you to react exactly like you are right now!" The only reason that it's obvious that she cares for Ryuu more than the average person is because she is a lot less reserved with him. When dealing with most people, Rieko keeps to herself and tends to be hostile and unreceptive to attempts to become friends with her. She's been hurt by almost every person she's ever cared for and doesn't want it to happen again.
I have to stop to explain here because this is an important relationship of Rieko's. She has an older brother named Raiden, but their relationship is horrible. As the children of the head of the Yamato Clan, both had a lot of expectations placed on their shoulders from a young age. Despite Rieko being a generally sickly and frail child (she still has very frail health, but she'll usually work through whatever is afflicting her now that she's older...at least until she collapses), she was viewed as the more talented shinobi. This bred resentment between the two that has in their teenage years become deadly. Every time they run into each other, Raiden tries to kill her. Rieko, despite knowing that he hates her, refuses to fight her older brother and will usually wind up trying to get away when he attacks her. This doesn't always work, and she sometimes has no choice but to fight back, but it's how she is.
And he'll find out about her right eye because of the way Massao's effects on her body materialize. I think I already said that Rieko has very fragile health, even though she rarely accepts any help from anyone. Well, over-using Massao exacerbates her poor health; it causes disruptions in her chakra networks that damage her internal organs and cause her to cough up blood. This didn't happen so much while she was in the Daichiran because she was comfortable enough around Mari, Kaida, Riku and Ryuu to deactivate it. Rieko actually has dark blue eyes when Massao is not activated. Now, her relationship with Riku...
Rieko has a (very well-hidden) soft spot for small children. It was for this reason that Riku was probably the only member of the Daichiran that she'd speak to besides Kaida and Mari initially. Like I said earlier, she was initially hostile and unreceptive to everyone else. Riku was likely responsible, at least in part, for her change of mind about Ryuu. As she came to trust those two more, she began putting them under the same category as Mari and Kaida (who she would protect at any cost) in her mind. It was around this time that she began realizing that she cared for Ryuu more than she liked to admit and started getting scared. Rieko's cynicism and skeptical views on love mask the fact that she's afraid of falling because then she would have to let the person et close to her which is no small feat; she keeps all but a select few at a comfortable distance from her heart.
Now, Rieko as a Kage took two students, twins named Akemi and Akane. They're around Riku's age, but Akane has been killed by enemy ninja by the time that they would meet Ryuu and the rest. Akemi, as a result, is very lonely and tends to follow after Rieko more than she used to. She teases Rieko about her feelings for Ryuu a lot, especially after meeting Ryuu, but she also doesn't trust him very much with her sensei.
Hey, that's awesome! I shall have to check out the Raikage!

Ha! Lol. I really am quite interested with this relationship between the two of them. I could definitely see the two of them getting into a fight, especially with his use of his Moudouken, which is actually quite often (just not 24/7 like the only other known user), and him getting onto her for the consequences of her kekkei genkai, is actually quite hypocritical. I have a feeling that Reiko probably has noticed his dulling sense of touch especially (it is the one sense that is showing the greatest signs of deterioration, and sometimes he can't even tell if someone is touching him, or if something is hot or cold. His hearing is the best of his senses besides his sight, so that would go last out of all of his senses.), just because she does care for him, even if she wouldn't admit it really, and most people have noticed it at least. Raiden? That's actually kinda funny... Riku's older brother is Raiden , but that doesn't matter really. I can always go change that (or there could be some sort of weird twist thing that I don't really know how it could be possible, but with Raiden being both, or something? Just spouting some nonsensical ideas out there, and see if someone can make sense of them ). Anyways! That is such a complicated and interesting situation she has there. I could see sometime in the far future a clash between Ryuu and Raiden, and Ryuu might meet someone that gives him trouble, and it could become a very interesting plot development. But anyways, Raiden might also be trying to go after her because she has a tailed-beast, perhaps, and maybe some government corruptness? Idk, it is yours completely, and it's probably a not-good idea, but my process is come up with some good and bad, and weed them out when I think about it more. Just stuff off the top of my head. Ah Riku and his innocent/not-so-innocent cute little/wants-to-be-treated-as-big boyishness. Yeah, I could really see these two getting along, at least after Reiko gets used to his, annoying, yet extremely cute attitude and weird way of looking at things. I agree with everything you've said, and I think that it's a pretty cool set up. Heck yeah! And I've got some ideas on the other Kages, though I bet to be realistic, they'd probably be 35 and up in age, and the Hokage, I've got a pretty good idea on

She'd probably be irritated with him over his use of his kekkei genkai, but it would be hypocritical on her part a little. She uses Massao constantly, which is why she's beginning to get into the advanced stages of its consequences. She always knew that she would probably die fairly young as a result of it, but she decided at a young age that she just didn't care. She cares for Ryuu a great deal, though, and doesn't want him to damage himself like she has. She will, likely, stubbornly continue to use Massao when she thinks Ryuu isn't paying attention.
Actually, Rieko's failing sight is the entire reason that she's out of commission. She was holding her own against those assassins until her sight kind of blurred out and distracted her. It was at that point that the attackers got through and managed to injure her. The injury wound up getting infected, and she developed a pretty nasty fever. When it is remembered that she has very fragile health to start with, it's easy to see how it would render her unable to do anything.
Rieko's brother is actually a very powerful shinobi, in his own right. He has achieved Massao like she has but uses it far more sparingly. Though he didn't try to kill Rieko because she was a Jinchuriki, he's always thought she was a freak and her Jinchuriki status probably contributes to the attacks now. Like I said, Rieko never fights back. On some level, she loves and respects her older brother and probably believes that she deserves to be attacked since she was perpetually distracting their parents' attention from him when they were kids. If Ryuu ever interfered, he'd wind up fighting Raiden, but Raiden otherwise doesn't care much about him much. Them fighting is unlikely to happen unless Ryuu jumps in when Rieko just accepts getting beaten on by her brother.
Once she got used to him, Rieko became very fond of Riku. Remember that she's seventeen and just a kid herself, technically. She needs to loosen up sometimes when Kaida's not involved (Kaida is one of those people that's capable of making everyone smile). Riku is probably like her sometimes-annoying-little-brother-figure.
Haha, three of the Kage are young! There need to be older ones! And I think I said in Mari's profile that the ninja world speculates about her relationship with Sasori? Yeah, it's platonic. They just go along with the speculation.

I think we've pretty much worked out their relationship, Redd. Any kinks you've found?

Nope, none that I can think of. I think that we've got it down pretty well. I've got a few more characters I'm going to add before drafting a rough first chapter/episode/beginning of first arc.
