"Of course it'll be happy! Just because that idiot didn't see your value and beauty, doesn't mean you won't find your soul mate someday! You'll be fine. You'll find the guy for you, and maybe he's even right in front of your face and you just don't see him," Fred insisted.
Ah this insecurity if hers. He knew she had it and there was a lot of reasons why, but why couldn't she see that there was always someone else. Not all guys are jerks to their girlfriends! Hey, look at him, he's a nice bloke, right? That proved it! Not all blokes are mean guys who abuse, make unhappy and hate their wives or girlfriends!

"I guess, Freckles," she sighed. "My past experiences with men...they're not so great, y'know? Look at my papa, for exam...ple....merde. ((Merde=shit))"
She'd never spoken of her parents while at Hogwarts, especially not to the Weasleys. Fred got angry enough over her verbal arguments with Jaden; she really didn't want to know what he'd do if he knew about her drunken asshole parents or the non-home shed returned to every summer for years. She could only assume that it would be unpleasant and involve lots of yelling (a lot of things resulted in yelling with the Weasleys; Molly had yelled at her when Fred brought her home for the state of the clothing she'd worn).

"What about your Dad? Did he hurt your mum or you?" Fred said suddenly getting worried. He was a joker, but when it came to abuse or hurting someone, he got angry. The Weasleys were known for their tempers, and hey he was a Weasley through and through last time he checked.
Fred realized he didn't know much about her home life. He didn't know about her parents. He knew she had a sister and all, but really when he thought about it, he didn't know that much about her and her life before he met her. It couldn't be that bad, right?

"...My mother and father are equally drunken and abusive," she grumbled. "What, you didn't think it was weird that Hogwarts had a student aid program? Dumbledore invented it during my first year. I couldn't afford anything that I needed for school if I wanted to feed my little sister. That's why I send the majority of my money back to France, too. If I don't send it to her, Jak doesn't eat."
She didn't like talking about her parents; she was pretty ashamed of them. That was also the reason she'd never discussed her home life during her school years. She'd been willing to listen to others talk about theirs, but she never spoke of the miserable little building she'd grown up in.

"Well yeah I wondered, but I never thought it was because of you!" Fred said starting to raise his voice slightly, "You're parents! Geez! How can parents not care about their own children? How can they abuse their own children?" He just didn't understand it. He was going to have a word or two with her parents.
He calmed himself down, realizing he had lost his temper, and sighed. "Sorry, it's just that I don't get how people can be.that way towards their own children," Fred said, before smiling slightly, "I guess it's a good thing you're away from them now, right?"

"Maman and Papa didn't want children, really; they just got stuck with Jak and I. It wasn't like they cared for us...or fed us," she mumbled.
Lisa carried one too many memories of cold nights spent wondering about the source of her and Jak's next meal. As soon as she'd been able to work, she'd sworn that her little sister would never have to go through that again. Even if Lisa starved, as long as Jak was okay...her sister was all she really had.
"Oui...Oui," she agreed softly. "But Jak isn't. Never saved enough for her passport."

"Even still, if they didn't want you, they should still take care of you," Fred said, shaking his head. His parents were extremely nice compared to this. They didn't get along all the time, but they loved each other and things went pretty well anyways. His mother was strict, but loved them so very much. He felt bad for underestimating how great she was at times.
"Georgie and I have money saved up, maybe we could get Jak here," Fred offered. They were probably the most successful business today and they made quite a bit of money. If it would help Jak, then he didn't see a problem, though he'd have to clear it with George of course.

"It's hard to take care of children when alchohol is your priority," she pointed out with a shrug. "Jam and I mostly took care of each other since neither of them would."
She'd always liked Fred's mother..except for when Molly was attempting to shove food down her throat and questioning the status of her clothing. Then she thought Molly's sanity was questionable. And Arthur was nice, even with his many eccentricinities. As for Fred's siblings, Percy was a prick, but the rest were nice. She liked them, too.
"I'll talk to Jak the next time I get an opportunity she mumbled, knowing that it would be a hard sell. Jak was irrationally proud for someone in her position. Lisa could hear her sister already...
"Really, sœur aînée? With money from a friend? Why should I accept?"

"I still don't like it..." Fred stated. He really didn't like this situation with her and her family, but there was nothing he could do now. Actually he could try and help Jak, but he already offered it and Anelisa had to ask, so he had to wait. Oh welll... In the mean time needed to find something funny to say.
"Well, I'll have to check if it's fine with George, but I'm pretty sure he'll agree. I'm not him, despite similar appearances, though I am more handsome than him, so I can't speak for him," Fred said with a small laugh. He ran his hand through his hair and smiled widely. Oh yeah, he was much more handsome than George, right?

"If you liked the situation, I would question your sanity," she teased gently.
Sometimes, she questioned his sanity regardless. There was just no way anyone could be that persistently optimistic and happy and not more than a little insane. Granted, she was a generally happy, upbeat person. Perhaps she fell under the same category as Fred...eh. So what if she did? It wasn't a bad category to be in.
"Oh, yeah. Infinitely more attractive," she agreed sarcastically. "Because Carrot-Top's hair is a fraction of a shade more orange than yours. Silly ginger."
She laughed softly and smiled to take the bite out of her usual sarcastic teasing. He was a little immature and a lot silly, but it just wouldn't be the same if he wasn't.

"You don't already? I am shocked!" Fred replied with a smile forced to be smaller than it wanted to be.
Sure he thought he a bit insane, but really wasn't the only sane ones the ones who thought of themselves at insane? Yeah.... Not really in Fred's case. He was quite optimistic, a little insane, silly, and a guy who just loves to have fun. There was nothing wrong with that, right?
"See? I knew I wasn't the only one! And if you look closely, I have 30 freckles and Georgie has 31! And I have both ears and he has one!" Fred said with a smile. He had almost forgot that many people had yet to see the earless Geroge, and they had come up with a story to sell it as, but it was a lie, and he didn't like lying. Especially to friends. Oh well, if she asked, then he'd tell yhe truth, inside and outside of everyone else's ears.

"Oh, I do, but only occasionally," she teased, smiling a little.
She blinked owlishly and tilted her head to one side when he said that George was missing an ear. When did that happen, exactly? She distinctly remembered both of the twins having two ears. It must've been a recent incident, or else she'd just been really out of touch with everyone back in England.
"When did Carrot-Top lose an ear?" she demanded.

"Come with me... This isn't anything for the ears of people just walking by!" Fred said with a smile. Hey, Georgie lost an ear, and it was funny to joke about. George wasn't very ear-y. Heh heh... That wasn't very funny, but even still, he didn't worry about it now. It was all just fun, right? It wasn't like he was dead, he lost an ear, so it wasn't bad at all.
Fred ushered her inside the joke shop. He was careful when he entered to look for signs of people there and of listening devices. He loved his joke shop, but he still had to be careful when it came to Order stuff. He trusted Lisa and felt it was safe to tell her some stuff. Not where Harry was or anything, but some, so if she was captured she couldn't reveal anything too important. "You wanna know what happened to dear Georgie?" He was still smiling, mostly because he was over the shock about it and was having a lot of fun joking with his twin about it.

Oh, no...let the bad puns begin. He'd be making jokes about poor George's ear for the rest of the day, and she wouldn't be sure if she should laugh or feel bad for George. The twins had been like that since Lisa met them. Some of their jokes honestly worried her, but they were usually funny so she never said anything.
She raised an eyebrow at him when he checked the store for bugs. What the hell had she missed these last few years...?
"Oui, I would," she replied.

"Well let's see... You know about the Order right? Georgie and I were on a mission for them, and well... Let's just say the dreaded Potions professor managed to use a cutting spell on him. And poof. No ear for George. He was quite ear-itable afterwards," Fred said with a laugh after he finished. Did she ear it? Heh heh... such bad puns. At least they weren't as bad as Holey! Well, actually they were worse, but it didn't matter because he was the one who said them and that made them better.
He leaned against the check-out counter, picking up a piece of candy they kept in a bowl for the two of them to eat whenever. Hopefully George didn't pull a fast one on him and switch them out for something else that would make him puke or something. Fred popped it in his mouth and smiled, thinking that it was quite safe. Little did he know, but his hair slowly changed shades into a bright bubble gum pink.
He had no idea that his hair was turning pink, however he had the idea to switch the sweets for something else. Oh! Maybe he could switch it with something that would turn George's hair pink without him even noticing!
