Remus was in his room, just waiting now. He was pacing back and forth, and he was starting to freak out. Why did he even think of doing this? It was too dangerous. He was practically going crazy. He couldn't give her kids! They would be like him! And even if not, they would have a father they would be ashamed of! No, no, no, no. he couldn't go through with this. He had commitment issues all his life, and this would be the biggest step for him. Marriage!
It was true that he loved Nymphadora Louise Tonks with all his heart. He wanted to have her for the rest of his life. What was he so nervous about? He couldn't go through with this! Remus stopped pacing and walked over to the door, thinking he should just walk out and leave forever. But he was being held back by something. He couldn't leave. It would hurt Nymphadora so much, but tying herself down to him. She would just board a sinking boat.
Remus' hand was reaching out towards the knob, not touching it, but threatening to open the door. If he left down, the he could free himself. The face of Sirius, James, and Lily seemed to block him, thinking of how they would react to him lea ing his love at the altar. He felt terribly, but right now, that seemed the best choice.

Tonks was in her room, she looked at the dress she was wearing. The one her mother said no to. She liked this one much better than the other one. It had sleeves and it wasn't a 'Cinderella' dress. The dress's neckline began at her collar bone and she was still getting ready. Her mother was fussing about how she'd look much better with a hoop skirt instead of a flowing dress that had a slight puff. It reached just abover her toes so she wouldn't trip over it, and instead of the traditional heels her mother insisted on wearing, she was wearing ballet shoes. They were more comfortable and they gave her more support. She kept changing her hair color and the style, she couldn't decide. She ended up going with chin length blue hair, and pale green eyes. The dress was semi-new, and her hair was blue. All she needed was something borrowed and old. Her dad came in and smiled.
"My little girl is growing up.." he said. "It's just a wedding daddy, and it's not like I'm leaving. I'm going to have to stay here for a while till we get on our feet." Tonks replied, hugging her father. "Well, princess, here's my veil. It will look beautiful on you." Andromeda said placing the veil on her daughter, "I sill think you should wear the other dress." "Mum, that's your dress from your wedding, I'm not going to wear it.." Tonks shook her head.
She sighed and thought, Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. My veil is old and borrowed, my hair is blue, and my dress is new... Oh please let this work. she secretly prayed. She was so excited and soon enough it was going to be time.
In the meantime, Sophie was waiting outside her father's door. She was about to knock when she thought she'd wait a bit longer. She waited for another minute or so and knocked. "Remus? Are you ready? It's almost time.." she called. She was in a pale pink dress she'd bought recently, her shoes were three inch silver colored shoes. They matched the dress but they did clash with the setting. Anyway, she was waiting for either of them to be ready. She hoped Teddy was waiting for Tonks, or he was inside with their father. Sophie had her wand in her purse, she didn't have pockets or boots on so she couldn't put it in either of those places. So it was in her bag.

Teddy was looking dashing today. Well when did he not? Anyways, he had his hair the black color he usually kept it, except when he lost control of his emotions. Of course he wasn't trying to outshow the bride or the groom, but he still looked pretty well. He had quickly gotten here and went to where his mother was. Sophie would take care of Dad, or if she was with their mother, he could always go there as well. It didn't matter as long as the two got married.
"The Amazing Teddy is here!" Teddy announced opening the door to Tonks' room. He spotted his mother, and she was quite beautiful. At least as beautiful as a son could think a mother as.
Meanwhile, Remus was in his room and he heard a knock at the door. Was he ready? No! No he wasn't! He was freaking.out right now. Remus opened his mouth a few times but couldn't form the wirds to say something, until he managed to croak, "No."
Remus hurried and sat on a nearby chair and.looked at the floor, his hair niw messed up and he looked a little deranged.

Sophie slowly opened the door, "Are you feeling alright?" she asked. She really just wanted to crack and say that everything was going to turn out okay and that soon enough they'd have Teddy but she couldn't, she couldn't do that. Then she'd be asked when she came into the picture, only she didn't technically come into the picture. She sat down in a chair and crossed her legs, "If it has to do with today, you can tell me, I can try to help you work through it." she smiled reassuringly. She wanted to say, Dad, you look great, you and mom are going to be so happy together... but then they'd ask her more questions. She didn't crack when the pair had payed her an unexpected visit, but she was on the verge of breaking.
Tonks turned when Teddy came in, "Teddy! How do I look? Everything looks good?" she did a quick spin. She didn't want anything to look wrong, she wanted to look perfect. "Dora, you look fine, no need to ask the boy." Ted chuckled. Andromeda stood there. Her big tangled mess of light brown hair was slightly more tame and she could control it. "I think Dora does have a right to know how she looks Ted." Tonks shook her head, "Parents.. what am I going to do with them." she chuckled shaking her head.

"You look.." Teddy said giving a thumbs up, "Extremely beautiful! Any guy would be lucky to marry such a pretty young lady!" Teddy's smile was huge showing all of his teeth. He couldn't help bit be happy. He was going to be born, but more importantly his parents were getting married!
"I can't do this," Remus said shaking his head. The thoughts running through his head kept fighting each other. He didn't think that he'd ever get this far. He was so sure by this time Nymohadora would leave him, or something like that. But it was his wedding day. He knew he coildn't go through this. No, he couldn't. Remus knew James felt jitters before his wedding, but it wasn't like anything that he was going through. How could he? James wasn't dragging the one he loved down with him.

Andromeda chimed first after that, "See, Dora? You can turn more heads than you thinks. You turned a number of heads while you were in school, I don't know why you couldn't do that now." "I turned so many heads, mother, because my hair color always made everyone curious!" Tonks snarled. She looked at Teddy, "Thank you. Oh and I don't think I've introduced you, Teddy, these are my parents. Ted and Andromeda Tonks. Don't confuse my mother with Bellatrix, everything will get way out of hand..." "Teddy is it? Dromeda, remember when everyone called me Teddy?" Ted chuckled. "Yes Ted." Andromeda rolled her eyes.
Sophie shook her head, of course she got the hard job. "Yes you can, you can do this.. everything is going to work out, trust me. And watch soon enough you'll have a baby on the way with out even realizing it." she smiled. Of course she knew he was going to freak out and try to leave when all of this happened, but she had to smile about it because that was her brother she was talking about. "Come on, you can do it, I know you can. You just have to follow what the preacher says to do, and then it's all layed out from there okay?"

"Yeah heh..." Teddy said when they noted his grandfather used to be called Teddy. Noticing that he shouldn't probably just leave it with his awkward little laugh. "It's nice to finally meet the two of you! I'm actually a cousin of the groom, so we'll be family! That'll be awesome, won't it?" Teddy already knew Andromeda, and he knew that Ted died not too long from now.
Kid? Did she just say kid? If there was any remaining color in his face, it was gone now. "Baby?" Remus asked, "That's exactly why! If we... If we had a kid, then... They'd be like me." He felt so terrible right now. A baby? Him a Dad? The thought scared the heebie bajeebies out of him. He couldn't do this. "I can't... I can't..." Remus said looking at the ground shaking his head like a dog shaking itself after a bath.

Tonks stood up, "How much longer? I'm getting jumpy.." she flopped down on her bed. "Well, Teddy, you bet get going. I've got to lead my daughter down the asile here soon. Take 'Dromeda with you." Ted said to Teddy, "We'll be down in a moment." "The more family the better." Andromeda said as she started for the door, "I can only pray that my daughter will have children.."
Sophie shook her head, "You don't know that... They could be like Tonks. Or they could be normal, there is always a chance..." she didn't know what to say. She couldn't just scream at him to get over it and accept that soon enough he was going to have to deal with Teddy coming along. She patted his back, "It's okay, everythings alright, come on though, it's time.. You've got to go wait for your lovely bride.." she smiled and stood up. "Everything is going to be fine, I promise." she said.

Cassiopeia and Aurelius arrived later than they had planned because Aurelius had gotten held up in Rome. Poor man. He'd only arrived in time to get ready. He hadn't gotten any rest; she felt a little guilty for that. She also didn't know exactly what "family function" her younger sister had dragged them into. Andromeda was always overtly vague in her letters. All she'd told them was to dress up.
Cassiopeia crossed her arms and pursed her lips when they finally found her sister. A wedding then? Nymphadora's, she guessed. She hadn't seen her niece in years. When had the girl gotten old enough to be married...?
"Sister, what have I told you about lack of information in your letters?" she scolded Andromeda. "Aurelius and I didn't even know to bring a gift for Nymphadora! You're lucky that we'll be in town for a while. And I don't know if I ever told you this, but not only is Nymphadora a perfectly wretched name, it's far too long. Do you know how difficult it will be for her to send out thank you cards after the wedding?"
Aurelius chuckled and kissed Cassiopeia's cheek then shook Ted's hand and hugged Andromeda before slipping out to speak with the groom. When he found the man, he silently thanked his lucky stars because it looked like he was havin doubts.
"Ah, hello," he greeted softly, extending a hand. "I am Nymphadora's uncle Aurelius. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir and madam."
Meanwhile, Cassie turned to her niece with a smile.
"Ah, little Dora! Well, you're not so little, now, but you were the last time I saw you. You look beautiful in that dress, dear. I'm your aunt Cassie. The man that just left is my husband Aurelius," she explained.

Tonks felt like she'd been stunned. Someone had come in saying she was her aunt. Then her mother started talking to the woman. "Cassie..." Andromeda was saying, "I liked the name Nymphadora. She doesn't so she either goes by Tonks and we call her Dora." she shrugged, "I've never put a lot of information in any letter. Besides, Dora didn't want a lot of people to know. I told Cissy about it too, but I didn't tell her what it was exactly. I just said I wanted her to come visit, but I guess she decided against it." Tonks was still working it out in her head, she'd gotten a letter from someone named Cassie and they'd claimed to be her aunt. "I think I would remember if I met you when I was five.. No I'm not little, I'm twenty six."
Sophie turned around when someone entered the room, she smiled and said, "Sophie Lupin. I'm one of the groom's cousins." she shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you mr. Aurelius."

Cassie smiled at her sister wryly when she mentioned Narcissa. No, really? She'd opted to not come? Cassie chalked it up to that bastard husband of hers. Cissy had always been very family-oriented when they were children, after all...
"Well, Meda, you're a blood traitor and I work for the Curia," she pointed out. "That's two very strong deterrents for Cissy and Lucius. Please tell me that you didn't try to re-integrate Bella into the family. Contrary to what you three believe, I don't enjoy embarrassing my younger sisters."
Bella and Cassie had never gotten along well. When they'd last seen each other, they had gotten into a duel that left half of Meda's garden in smoking ruins. Needless to say, the two hadn't spoken since.
Cassie rose an eyebrow at Nymphadora.
"What? Twenty-six, already? I suppose Aurelius and I did wait a bit to have children; my son is only nineteen. And I don't know if you would necessarily remember me; I was younger, blonder and wore glasses back then," she admitted with a laugh.
Aurelius glanced at the man that would be marrying his niece and quirked his lips into a little wry smile. He was an older man, but he was getting cold feet like a much younger one. It was kind of funny.
"Please, I hear enough pleasantries at work, and we will soon be family. Just call me Aurelius, Sophie," he requested.

Teddy looked confused when he saw Cassie enter. Was this really the Great Aunt Granny Dromeda had told him just a little about. Of course his Granny Dromeda talked about her sisters as he had a right to know about his family. He remembered the story about a duel between Bellatrix and Cassie, but not much else. He just remembered the parts about how his great Aunt Bellatrix was evil and Narcissa had a change of heart. Teddy kept a smile on. "You're Tonks' Aunt?" Ted asked stupidly, before readjusting and introducing himself. "Well Hi! I should introduce myself," he could tell his hair was flaring up into a turcoise, which happened when he was excited. He placed a hand on his head and tried to hide the turcoise, "My name is Theodore Lupin, a cousin to the groom, and er... I go by Teddy."
Remus was really freaking out. He stood up and began pacing. "I can't go down there, Sophie! I'm afraid if I leave this room, I'll leave, and I don't want to do that... Or maybe I do. I don't know anymore." He looked up at Sophie and saw another man he had completely ignored and not even knew had come in. Remus cleared his throat. "Oh, er... I'm Remus Lupin... I wasn't aware Nymphadora had family I had yet to meet."

She blinked when she finally noticed Teddy. His hair was....blue. That was special. She'd only ever really seen Nymphadora do that. That was interesting. Upon further examination, he kind of looked like her niece, too. That was...odd. Wasn't he supposed to be related to the groom? Ah, well. She'd poke holes in his story later. This was her niece's wedding!
"Well, it's very nice to meet you, Teddy," she replied pleasantly. "And yes, I'm her aunt. I live in Italy, so nobody ever sees much of me around here. My sister asked me to drop in while I was in town, though, so here I am!"
She smiled and winked at Meda conspiratorially.
Meanwhile, Aurelius rubbed the back of his head with a sheepishly laugh.
"Ah...si. It's very nice to meet you, Remus. I'm married to Nymphadora's aunt, and we live in Italy, so we don't get to visit as often as we would like. I'm terriy sorry that you and I haven't gotten to meet before now. Incidentally, since I had to come here from Rome a few hours ago, and you're marrying my niece, I must warn you that I can't let you leave if you think you might abandon her at the altar."

"It's a pleasure to meet soon to be family!" Teddy said trying to turn his hair back to black. Turcoise to red to grey to Turcoise again. He might as well give up. He hated when he couldn't control his ability very well, like now. Why wouldn't it just behave. He could feel his nose start to change into a dog's snout, so he turned around, trying to fix it. What the hell was wrong? It wasn't long before he fixed it and turned back around with a goofy smile. "Sorry, I'm just really happy right now."
Meanwhile, Remus was still freaking out, like badly. Remus was still pacing and he was breathing rapidly as if he was about to have a heart attack. "I'm sorry, I'm just unsure right now. You don't know this, but I'm a monster and she deserves so much better than me. I don't want to drag the love of my life down with me..."

Cassie smiled a little. She was used to dealing with Metamorphagi; Gabriel Cavaliere's daughter was one. Lexi's degree of control over the ability was questionable. At such a young age, that wasn't unheard of, and it was definitely cute. Cassie just wished Lexi would stop turning her hair neon green to startle company when she was babysitting the child...
"You're a Metamorphagus?" she asked. "That's a rare ability to have. My friend has a daughter with it. She's a handful, little Lexi."
Aurelius glanced over at Sophie for help. He didn't want to admit that he knew about Lupin's "furry problem."
