"Yes." That was all he said as he watched the shocked boy stutter over his words. It wasn't always that Markoyz would induct someone into the order let alone someone who he just met and on top of that being from Slytherin house. To which he reminded himself that Snape was of Slytherin house. "I trust you with just enough confidence to see that you are home to no evil. I sense only good thoughts in you. Something I know will become a great asset to the Order since you are still a student and could double up as a double agent."
"The Army could use a double agent Mr.Clark." He said as he took another sip of his water. "You are kind hearted and if you like I could speak to Mr.Potter about it and ensure there be no hate toward you due to your house, age or background." I have my complete trust in you as a Ministry official and as a senior member of the order." He added with again taking another sip.

"I never would have guessed that I would ever meet an Order person, well besides Harry," Tristan said taken aback slightly, still slightly unsure about the whole mess. The news that Voldemort was going to eventually die, from Astrid, had really struck him. If he hadn't of known this, well he would definately not even considered the proposition, on the fact he wanted to stay nuetral and survive. Tristan was always fighting himself on what he was going to do, and now an option of great responsibility and importance danced in front of his face, and he had a few minutes to decide if he were to grab the chance, or turn his back on that side forever, but it wasn't too bad, Tristan supposed, as he expected he would have to choose eventually, and what better time then the present? "That... I guess you're right. Though it would be going against all of my friends, but at the same time, do what I feel is right..." That was one of the only big parts of the decision to Tristan. He had several friends, some that had graduated and become Death Eaters, but at the same time Tristan wanted to be on the winning side. Tristan didn't care about blood, though his late father probably did, and Tristan didn't condone the mistreatment towards Muggles and Muggle-borns.
Backround? That was something he really hoped no one would judge him on. Tristan hated his past and tried to get as far away from that as possible, and if someone were to find out about it, he knew they would probably hate him. Tristan wasn't used to this kind of trust this man was putting in him, and he was completely taken back by his admission of it. It could be some sort of plot, or it could be true. Could he really take the chance that Markoyz was playing with him? "I-I..." Tristan was trying to decide in his head, and in an instant he knew what his answer was, "I would like that... How could you trust me so readily? I'm a Slytherin and we are known for betrayal and being evil." Tristan hated himself for the comment that reached his brain the next instant, which was if he worked for the Order, he could feed Voldemort information. It was completely not Tristan who thought it, it was more like what he feared he would turn into because of peer pressure, or someone he grew to care a lot for lead him to that heartless sort of person.

Although he stood anxious slightly waiting for his response on the inside, on the outside his emotions were hidden away harder than that of stone and cement. Markoyz saw something inside of Tristan that he liked. He could only sense the good that was inside of him. Nothing bad. "It is indeed going against your kind. To which I don't mean to be bias of course. Not all Slytherin's are as bad as people think they are. " He added before taking a small glimpse around them making sure no one was around them before he continued to talk. "So in short, if you do go against the Slytherins, I shall promise you personally to have you under the security of the Ministry and of Hogwarts. " He looked at Tristan dead straight in the eye and said clearly and calmly "No one shall hurt you not while I'm around."
A smile was all that was on his face as he heard Tristan reply with 'I would like that..' Though, this smile quickly dropped as he watched Tristan softly snap. "Now, now Tristan." He said trying to reassure the boy with a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Listen here, I, with no mean to blow my own trumpet, am quite a powerful wizard able to detect different forms of magic. It's also part of my job. All I can sense from you is only good. There is no evil in you not that I can feel. And we both know this is true is it not?" He said as he took his hand back and patted his back. "Like I said I will offer you full protection and service from both Hogwarts & the Ministry. "

Tristan was seriously considering it, since it was a great chance to join the winning side. But Tristan didn't know how long victory for the non-Voldemort supporters would take, years, months, days, Astrid didn't tell him enough information to completely jump at this chance. "That's true, there are a couple of Slyterins who do think like me. I mean I want to be a part of this war, but I don't want to pick a side where I will die," Tristan explained, knowing that dying was the part of the war he didn't want to be a part of, seeing as death scared the living daylights out of him, "But... But what will happen if the Ministry and the Order are defeated by V-Voldemort?" Tristan only hesitated because he usually didn't use the name, though he wasn't really afraid of using it.
"I dunno, I've done some questionable things in my past, things I do not wish to share, mind you," Tristan answered, feeling like some evil scum, which he really didn't like to feel like, and it was weighing down his thoughts, making him feel low in self-esteem, his father's ghost seeming to haunt him, "I don't feel good, I mean, I've messed in Dark Arts before and many other things one might consider evil."

"You don't want to pick a side where you will die?" He scoffed and laughed softly. There was no side where you would die only the side which was right and wrong and clearly Markoyz was on the right side. "My dear boy, like I said, I will be your personal security guard. Nothing will happen to you I have Aurors and undercover Aurors with powerful transformation skills placed all over Hogwarts and around it. There is no possible chance that you will get hurt." He said as he reassured the boy's safety. "I promise you." He said as he looked at him dead straight in the eye.
"Voldemort?" He may be a powerful wizard but as a whole, the order is much more powerful. We once helped fight the American witch killer who was known to have terrorized little witches into doing things for them. Horrible inhumane deeds. He is now dead. Soon Voldemort shall be too." His eye brow raised as he once again took look around him. "Tristan, as the Hogwarts Liaison and head of Magical Law Enforcement, I'm going to have to ignore what you just said about the dark arts. Further more, I too have ventured off into the land being an under cover curse creator for one of my earlier missions. It wasn't pretty, we would test the curses out on muggles. Some of them being blown apart. I do not care about your dark Arts past, present or future all I want from you is a straight yes or no." He said with nothing else left to say.

Something about Markoyz's eyes looking at him so reassuringly made him feel extremely safe. It was almost like in the few moment Tristan knew him he grew to trust and respect Markoyz, almost looking up to him as a sort of mentor. "I didn't really mean it like that...I don't want to die, but the right and wrong line is so obscure; I bet you say you're on the right side, but Voldemort feels he is on the right side. But, I do feel that the Order is on the right side to me..." Sort feeling like that right side, but more right than Voldemort's as he knew that Voldemort was very mean and intolerant of others.
"Very confident, you are," Tristan said his brain thinking backwards on that sentence, then refocusing on the right order to put the words in, "But it's still a possibility that he would win the war." Dumbledore was getting older and he couldn't keep Voldemort away forever, and Voldemort, while old, was very powerful and had a lot of people who followed him.
"Oh sorry," Tristan said quietly, forgetting he shouldn't mention things like his dabbles into the Dark Arts, especially to someone like Markoyz, who could have him sent to Azkaban, especially since he was seventeen now, "I... Ok," he said the ok really fast, forcing himself to decide, not really regretting what he chose at the moment, "Yes, I will join your side of this war. I just hope I don't let you down."

Almost instantly Markoyz smiled with confidence and said with a huge smile on his face "Tristan I know this is hard for you, but I assure you it is indeed the right thing to do. Not just for you but for Hogwarts, your friends and your family." He said as he placed one hand on his shoulder. "I'm not old but I'm not young either. I'm actually quite young I'm 25 I think. Wow maybe I am old. I can't remember back to the topic, yes." He said as he oddly spoke weirdly about his age at random points as he did do this quite often in the serious moments. As of the trail of Jacob Le'strange to where he had admitted to having a butter cream pie earlier that day which caused gas during the whole trial. "Now." He said as he held out his hand for a hand shake.
"Hold my hand. I'm going to side apperate you to the Astronomy Tower." He said as he awaited his reply. Of course the use of magic in the forest as well as Hogwarts grounds were not allowed at all. But sometimes being Markoyz had it's advantages. "I'm the Hogwarts Liaison & Head of Magical Law Enforcement I can Apperate anywhere I'm that special!" He said with a small laugh and a smile knowing that Tristan was a brave boy who Markoyz would protect with his life. "You are in safe hands trust me."

Friends and Family. Yeah it was the right choice for his dead father, which he was sure he killed, and his dead mother. That was the only family he ever had. Ever since then he had been on his own. If the govenment found out about him living without anyone they woud've sent him to an orphanage, but now if they did, there was nothing they could do. Now that he was a grown up he didn't have to pretend he didn't have a family. As for friends, seeing as those he thought of friends were few, though many people probably counted him as a friend, but he usually just used those people for person benefit, and those few real friends would probably hate the fact that he would choose the Order, such as the transfer Jacob Lestrange who was the son of Voldemort and Bellatrix in the future (which he heard from a different transfer as Jake didn't tell him himself), who seemed to show his opinion on Voldemort's side. Either way, he didn't really see how it could be good for his non-exsistant family and pro-Voldemort friends. "Yeah... Mum would be proud," Tristan muttered loudly enough Markoyz could hear him. Tristan was told how his mum was a Gryffindor and almost joined the Order, but moved to marry his father, who went to Durmstrang. "Only 25? I thought you were like 50 or something..." Tristan said looking at Markoyz with almost disbelief. He surely couldn't be only 25, he looked too old and was head of a department.
"What do you want to do at the Astronomy Tower?" Tristan asked curiously, though he had a feeling he would be ok with it, just as long as it wasn't something crazy like Markoyz wanted to push him off the tower or something.
