Eliza smiled to herself as she looked at the bouquet of flowers in her hands. Irises and red roses, Brielle's favorite flowers. Her sister had always said that she'd wanted her wedding bouquet to look like the one that Eliza was carrying. Maybe they would've if Bri hadn't gone out that night. As it was, Eliza could take the flowers to her sister's grave site to keep it pretty. Brielle always did like colors.
She glanced over at Mikael, who looked confused as he seemed to have thought that he was actually going to meet living family when she'd asked him if he wanted to meet her older sister. She wished that he could; Bri would've been happy to see Eliza beginning to transition from her chaotic early years into a normal life.
"Just a little further," she reassured him.
She smiled a little when they reached the grave. Bri had been buried under an oak tree; wildflowers were already growing where the dirt had once been turned up. Eliza kneeled to place her flowers at the foot of the stone and pulled out a cloth to dust off the photo of her and Brielle that had been taken a few months before her sister's death. Brielle was all sun-kissed skin, blonde curls and smiles in the photo; it was how they all preferred to remember her.
"Hey, sis. Sorry I haven't visited in a while; things got crazy at school," she murmured. "I brought my boyfriend. You would've liked him, Bri."

Mikael was really worried, if he was going to meet her sister, why were they going to a graveyard? He kept adjusting his guitar, it was moving so much because of all the moving. He decided to carry it by its neck, it was much easier.
"By we're almost there do you mean it's right here or do you mean we're half way there.." he asked.
When they reached the grave, he just stared at it. "Do you feel like we're being watched too?" he asked Eliza in a whisper. He felt like there were eyes watching them, but there was no one there. He looked at the grave and cleared his throat.
"Um hi, me name is Mikael. It's nice to meet you, Bri." he said looking at the grave. He lined the grave with ivy from his wand. Ivy was a very pretty weed, but he always added color to it. Pinks, bright greens, blues, silvers, colors that were quite pretty.

"It's an old grave yard," she explained. "There could be ghosts; none of us have ever encountered any of they're really here. Bri wanted to be buried near our grandmother. They were always close."
She finished cleaning off the glass that covered the photo and smiled a little as she looked down at the picture. Bri, Eliza and Gabe had taken the kids to the beach that day. Gabe had aimed the camera at Bri and Eliza as Bri reclined on a beach towel. Eliza was sitting up with her legs crossed as she spoke with her sister. When Bri had noticed Gabe with the camera, she'd laughed in that open, genuine way that she'd passed down to Lexi. Eliza had made a face at her sister's boyfriend.
"She would've been happy," Eliza noted with a soft laugh. "Bri loved her colors; she hated anything drab."

"There are ghosts here?" Mikael asked a bit worried. He was used to the Hogwarts ghosts but he was nervous about it still. Other ghosts kind of freaked him out.
He looked over Eliza's shoulder at the picture. Her sister really was pretty.
"Cute picture, although you shouldn't make that face. Makes you look like you don't like pictures." he laughed. He finished with the ivy making sure it never touched the name of the departed. "I know the feeling."

"Uh, maybe? There are stories, but we've never seen anything," she replied thoughtfully.
She smiled down at the photo and blew it a kiss. Ah, Bri...she couldn't help but wonder what her sister would've said if she could see Eliza and Mikael together. She hoped that Bri would be proud of what she was doing with her life, thus far. She and Bri had occasionally fought over Eliza's choices in life and love, especially while Eliza was dating Aspen. Actually, she didn't recall many members of her familly liking Aspen very much.
"It's not the pictures I dislike...it's the pictures taken by Gabe, that weirdo. Mein brother-in-law is determined to make a scrapbook out of everything," she laughed.
