Harry couldn't seem to process any of this as fast as he wanted. There was Bellatrix and a few more Death Eaters. The killer of Sirius Black was here wanting the glory of capturing him, who she recognized, and yet she wasn't summoning Vold- You-Know-Who (why was he censoring the name out of his thoughts too?). She must be planning something.
"Oh! The little freak's gotten angry," Bellatrix laughed at Tonks' anger at Remus calling her by her full first name, which Remus simply ignored her anger at it for now. "As if we'll let the pack of werewolves get away," one of the other Death Eaters scoffed. Remus recognized this one as Travers.
"I promise I'll watch over him," Harry said through clenched teeth, gripping his wand tightly trying not to attack the woman and Death Eaters in front of him. Harry moved so he was next to Remus ready to go when the spells began flying.
Remus really wanted Harry and Tonks to both go. Harry was the leader of the anti-Voldemort movement, whether Harry knew it or not. Harry was the one who brought them hope. And Tonks was the one who brought him hope that he could have a fairly normal life, or as normal as one could get in these times. He would try and convince Harry later, when Dora had left. He felt that he could probably protect Harry for a little while, even though they were outnumbered.

James had just had a giant fight with elder Harry at his office at Hogwarts a few hours ago and was still feeling hurt from it as he arrived at Hogsmeade. The thing he wanted the most right now was to find some Death Eaters to cause them some serious grief back. After all they were due to get it anyway… for years. His father really did believe he would stay quiet by his side as some sort of backup until the Battle of Hogwarts happened as Albus and Lily were happy to do. In other words, his father expected him to cower in a corner until everything went downhill.
James was not afraid. That might not be the healthy or even the sane point of view right now, but it was his point of view. Harry should have known better. After all he had named his first son James Sirius for a reason and there was no chance that he would ever just wait for things to happen when people he cared for were in need of his help. James instead decided to run away from the safety his father would have provided him at Hogwarts to do what he thought he should do. Help him, or well, his younger self, who was currently on the run together with aunt Hermione and uncle Ron. It's not like he had never fought with Death Eaters much older than himself before…
The only little problem was the fact that James had no idea where dad jr., how he liked to think about his father's younger self, opposite to dad sr., who was actually already his father and the DADA professor at Hogwarts now, was at right now. His best bet was to find the Lupins, Teddy's parents, and discover if they knew something about dad jr.'s whereabouts. But where were they right now? Andromeda's house most probably. James was about to apparate there, as he had learnt how to do so during the last year at Hogwarts and he had heard stories about the house as a kid from Andromeda herself and knew where it was from them, when he heard noises nearby his position.
The young Potter from the future smiled a wolfish grin. He was quite angry at what he was hearing. How he was disgusted at the Death Eaters, especially that insane git called Bellatrix Lestrange. He approached very slowly to see the situation. He knew what the element of surprise meant in an attack by now. He was practically born listening to his dad planning some kind of attack or another, not that he was supposed to have heard any of those conversations at all, but then again he was James Sirius Potter. Nothing could hold him down when he wanted to do something.
The situation was not favorable at all to Lupin and dad jr., who had done a quite poor job at transfiguring himself. Anyway, two against six was no fair, but the opponents were Death Eaters and thus cowards by nature in James' opinion. He could just use surprise to disarm one of them, but that would not help for long. Bellatrix would be the worst problem to deal with surely. How could he best help them and increase their chances of success against their assailants?
While still out of sight and making no noise, something he was used to in order not to be caught on his pranks or where he wasn't supposed to be since he had no cloak of invisibility to hide him while growing up, James took his wand out from his pocket, the one his father had given him when he was 11 and he had used for his protection and that of his siblings since then. He tried to get the best look he could before being forced to reveal his presence and actually jumping into the fight. His best shot was to disarm the Death Eater closest to his position, someone he didn't know from the present or the future.
Logic was Albus' thing, sure, but thinking outside of the box was his thing. James certainly was impulsive and a little too reckless according to his father, but he also knew how to be cold and think his attack through. He used that ability to decide on what to do next, in the span of a few seconds only, to make the fight a fair one. Three against three. For that he had to bring three down before revealing himself. It was impossible to cast three powerful enough spells in such a fast succession for any wizard and that included James, but he could make a couple Death Eaters attack their peers. Well… he could try anyway…
Not many spells had had the chance to be casted between the two fighting groups before an "Expelliarmus!" could be heard coming from the right of their location. It hit square the Death Eater it was aimed at, who was disarmed. Now James had been seen and wands would surely be turned in his direction. James waved his free hand from left to right with a closing motion in an attempt to use his telekinesis to make the hands of at least a couple of the Death Eaters be turned a bit more to the right so they would end up cursing their own peers before they noticed.
Sure James had never used his gift in this way before. Whenever he tried to move more than one thing at once it was always with the same motion in the same direction to do the same thing. It was a long shot and he didn't hope that it would work at all, but it would confuse their assailants long enough for Remus and Harry to get the upper hand. That was enough for James right now. Waiting not even a second longer, he ran to stand right beside his father, something he had dreamed to do for most of his life. Now Harry stood there being flanked by the one who was like a father figure to him and his oldest son. A family ready to fight.
((OOC: I've left things quite open ended besides one disarmed Death Eater due to the element of surprise as it made sense to me. If anything else happens at all, it's your choice once you guys post again.))

((Ooh... and once the attention turns.... in comes Tonks-y.. hehehehe. Anyone think Bellatrix should aim right at Tonks' stomach? I like the drama on these things..))
Tonks had been standing in the window. She patted her stomach and before she knew it. Her wand was drawn, and she was outside. She'd joined at the right time too because someone had disarmed a Death Eater and everyone, even Bellatrix turned their attention to the new comer. She shot a stunning spell at the disarmed Death Eater and watched him fall. She then took up refuge next to her husband.
"Hullo dear." she said in the few moments they had before attention changed. "Thought I was going to sit by? You're funny!" She moved to where she could easily fight with out harming her child in anyway.
((Sorry for the short one... I was rushing so my dad wouldn't catch me on the computer))

((Seems like a fairly interesting turn of events I could see Remus possibly diving to take the spell in front of her, Teddy and Tonks are the two people he cares about most.)) Many things happened at once, quite obvious. Harry didn't have to double check to seize the chance at sending a stunning spell at another Death Eater, who had been preoccupied by whomever had attacked. Harry didn't have very much time to take a look at who attacked the Death Eater before, but did catch a familiar looking face to his own. His stunning spell hit one of Bellatrix's back-up Death Eaters squarely in the chest, causing the man to crumple to the ground. Now it was 4 on 4 (at least Harry believed that it was, especially if the guy who fired at the previous Death Eater was one their side, Harry didn't know the kid, even though he looked extremely familiar from somewhere that he couldn't place his finger). With everything that had happened in that instant, Remus also fired a spell, though at Bellatrix which was blocked by the insane woman. The four remaining Death Eaters began attacking the four... wait four? "Nymphadora! You need to go, for Teddy's sake!" Remus insisted trying to keep his focus on both the spells being sent his way and Dora. The boy who started it, by disarming one of the Death Eaters... could it be... No, he was dead. Anyways, he didn't have glasses. Otherwise the boy was a spitting image of... Remus' eyes flashed towards Harry for a second in his thoughts. However, these thoughts were interrupted by a momentary lapse in focus, causing him to be hit by a torture curse coming from (who would've guessed?) Bellatrix. Remus fell to the ground, his body feeling as if his bones were on fire. A feeling only matched by the pain of transforming into a werewolf he faced each month. No person could ever get used to such pain. However, Remus managed to suppress a scream of pain, long enough, and as soon as the spell's effects wore off, he stood up, though severely weakened, and still aching and hurting from the spell. Harry couldn't focus on exactly what was happening in regards to Remus getting tortured, or even if someone else was hit, because he was dueling one on one with a Death Eater right in front of him, leaving him almost no time to focus on what was going on around him. Harry shot a disarming spell at his opponent, hitting the woman Death Eater he fought (which was not Bellatrix, but someone he had yet to have the pleasure of being acquainted with), sending a stunning spell at his opponent, causing the second of the Death Eaters he attacked to fall to the ground. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a bright green jet of light, flying past his face, missing him barely. "Don't kill him! He's for the Dark Lord!" Bellatrix shrieked having seen how close Harry had come to dying just now. As Harry turned towards Bellatrix he felt something hit him in the side. He fell to ground, not knowing exactly what had happened, before realizing that he had been hit by a stunning spell from one of the Death Eaters. He was now vulnerable, easily taken. All a Death Eater needed to do was apparate while touching him and he would be as good as dead. ((Btw Marbys, don't worry about the length, I get carried away sometimes too And 'Liese you don't need to worry either. And both of you, if you wish for something to happen to Harry or Remus, that works, I don't mind too much. I think that once Bellatrix is alone, she'll try to call the Voldemort, and I unless you two have plans for when that happens, I do have a tidbit that would work to prevent her from doing so.))

(( OOC (Edited): I gotta say I love some drama too. Just don't expect James to simply stand there and do nothing. It's not in him at all. Dora and Remus are parents to Teddy, who is like an older brother to him. Though his focus now is on protecting his unconscious dad, if James sees or hears something he'll react to it. ))
The fight got heated seconds after his joining. James did not mind. Two Death Eaters were down. He saw that. The one who had been disarmed by him was later on stunned by who? Nymphadora? Was she crazy? Being pregnant in the middle of a fight… What could he do but double the attention of his ears to gauge more of the overall situation? Nothing really. So he did as he focused his eyes on the tall blond guy in front of him, defending himself from a few of his spells. James then heard a cruccio being casted, that was clearly Bellatrix's voice, and the noise of someone falling to the ground near him. A quick look confirmed it was Remus. It was better to finish his own fight fast. That was exactly what he aimed to do.
James was swift and with a few wiggles of his armed hand conjured two ropes, which in the span of a few seconds disarmed and immobilized his opponent completely as he fell unable to stand due to his constrained legs. Just as he turned his attention to another opponent, Harry managed to bring one more down. Four Death Eaters were out of the fight now. Now it was just Bellatrix and another one.
He was not fast enough though as he was just midway from casting a stunning spell on the other Death Eater when that same person casted an AK towards… No!!!!! The despair must have been clear in his face. He couldn't let that happen! If his father died now and not by Voldemort's hands, it was all over. It meant no victory… ever and it meant he would never exist. For a moment he forgot completely about protecting himself and turned all the focus of his mind on the guy's hand. With a fast upwards movement of his free one, he caused the other's hand to slightly go upwards as he casted his spell, which made it miss Harry by just enough.
Well… as dad had always told him since his childhood… actions have consequences… Those moments during which his focus was completely on protecting his dad were much more than enough for one of the remaining Death Eaters, he never got to see which, to cast a non-verbal curse on his direction similar to Snape's Sectumsempra. A gash appeared on his right arm close to his shoulder from which blood began to pour. He winced as he brought his free hand to pressure his wound while he tried to maintain the grip on his wand with the hand whose arm was now injured. Where is Scorpius when you need him anyway?
A second or so later the insane git was talking about his dad and taking him alive to Voldemort. Sure that would be a suggestion he'd make to his dad later, once all the other horcruxes were destroyed. Now was not the time yet. How could she think he would ever allow her to take his dad? It would happen only over his dead body. He let his injured arm hang by his side and transferred his wand to his left hand. He wasn't so bad with it, he just preferred to use the other one most of the time.
"No one touches him!" James screamed to all still standing, placing himself in front of his dad's unconscious body. "I won't let you touch him!" He continued with the same determination as before. If he died now or soon, he'd just be born again when the time was right. If Harry died now or soon or before all other horcruxes were destroyed, there would be no him or Albus or Lily or hope of any kind to those who didn't fit into Voldemort's vision for the world.
His reply was a deep psychotic laugh from Bellatrix. She seemed amused with his actions. Then she mocked him with a boo sound. If she thought that scared him, she was wrong, very wrong. He was James Potter II and no one would bring him down while on the job of protecting his dad. If he had to fight with Bellatrix herself to achieve that, he would.
"Do you think you and that lunatic psychopath you call master scare me? You're wrong! To me ugly faces mean hunger! Stay away from him!" James said defiantly, pointing his wand at Bellatrix, ready for anything. He was beginning to see red and that never ended up well… both for him and his opponent.
(( OOC (edited): I'm not sure what I want to do next really. I'm happy to follow your lead on this one as I've done so far. Hopefully it was OK to slightly NPC Bellatrix above. By the way, I absolutely loved the fact that Remus thought James was his gramps for a moment. I've built most of this post around that single line of yours, Redd. James' right arm is pretty much useless now and he is from now on unable to use his magical gift as his only usable hand is managing his wand. That may cause a greater sense of deja vu on Remus as one's fighting style comes from one's personality and James' is much like his namesakes' ones. ))

"If you think I'm leaving, you've gone mad." She wasn't going to stay back and watch while they faught, it wasn't in her nature for one thing and another. She really wanted Bellatrix to suffer for once. No one called her a freak. No one did. Tonks smirked. A four on four match? Perfect. She went straight for Bellatrix, Tonks even hung with her for the most part. That is, until she felt a sharp pain in her side. She grabbed her rib and held it. "Teddy, please... Mummy has to do this.." she muttered. But Bellatrix cast her aside. She'd gone after Remus. "No!" She screamed. Tonks couldn't act quicker though, she was attacked by another Death Eater. One of not much experience it seemed. She dueled but she wasn't playing at her best. She finally went for one of the things Gio taught her about duels. If you can't beat them with a wand.. Use a fist. She charged the Death Eater. Her fist drawn back, she cocked him in a jaw with a right hook. As good as it looked, it hurt. Oh, did it hurt. She could have sworn she broke it. Luckily, she was left handed and could still use a wand. She turned around quickly doubling over in pain. She wasn't leaving though, no no no. There was too much at stake for her to leave now. She had to finish this out. She forced herself up. It felt as if everything was moving in slow motion. When Tonks looked up, Bellatrix had an evil smile on her face. Tonks saw everything flash before her eyes. A spell hadn't been fired yet but it was coming. It had to be. Bellatrix Lestrange was the woman who almost killed her two years previous. She'd attemped at it, but hadn't succeded. Tonks was breathing heavy. "Going... to... kill me... eh? I... hope you... rot... in-" She was cut off by the sound of screaming. A death eater was being tortured as well. A flash of red light came out of no where and narrowly missed Tonks. She was terrified, but Mad-Eye had taught her how to hide that fear. And so, she would. ((@redd: Awwh! I'm a sucker for a sap story.. and Thanks Redd, I still am aiming for long replies. 300 words is my goal for each post. I llike me a challenge. Marbys: Imma leave it up to Redd, this was sorta her idea the whole attack thing... I just wonder.. will Dora get her sugar quills?))

((I do like your idea, a lot better than mine Let's go with your idea, Marbys!)) There was simply two Death Eater left. Dora was hurt, Remus had been keeping an eye on her, almost all the time if one didn't count the fact that the boy who had come to standing by Harry's side when he was knocked unconscious looking so much like James Potter. Remus felt that at least for now they could trust the boy. There was such an uncanny resemblance between the boy and James, almost like they could be the same person, even more than Harry seemed like James. However, Remus knew he couldn't dwell on this fact. He had to stay focused. Harry was unconscious, and Dora was in trouble. There were two Death Eaters left. Bellatrix was concentrated on Dora, and also seeming to worry about Harry and getting the boy there. She had her chance, and Bellatrix had her wand ready, pointing at Tonks as the one other Death Eater went for the boy. That boy sure had guts. Remus wanted to actually meet this kid who reminded him of his dear old friend, Prongs. Only if Padfoot was here to see what seemed to be the reincarnation of Prongs. Remus was jumping to conclusions. Just because he looked like James, didn't mean he was James. That was absurd. Remus had to worry about deflecting the spell he knew Bellatrix was about to fire. Everything was indeed seeming to move in slow motion. Her wand was raised, he began running towards Bellatrix, firing a spell as he ran at the Death Eater going for the Prongslet, though just a simple stinging jinx, missing the Death Eater. Remus pointed his wand at Bellatrix, firing a disarming jinx, missing her (what was up with him today and missing his target, especially now, when it really mattered?). Before Remus knew it, his momentum carried him, slamming into her arm, causing the killing jinx to fire off course, missing Dora by about a foot, and his wand flying out of his hand to the side. "How dare you?" Bellatrix spat holding her wand up to the now fallen Remus. Remus was laying on the ground, sore from the torture curse a bit prior and from falling to the ground. At least he managed to make her miss Dora. If this would be the end, he would have many regrets, but at least he spent his last moments protecting the two most important people in his life: his wife and his son. But he knew he couldn't die, not now. Remus rolled himself over and smiled at Bellatrix's angering face. She had turned her back to the kid. Typical Bellatrix, underestimating the younger kids. Remus really hoped that the kid would come to save them again, or his wife, as Bellatrix's attention had been turned to him. "I wonder what the little freak would do if I were to kill her pet wolf?" Bellatrix cackled wanting to play with her prey before killing them. Bellatrix was not a stupid woman. In fact, she was extremely intelligent, evil, but intelligent. However, her one weakness, other than being completely insane, was her underestimation of the younger generation (one that she would learn to counter if she had failed Voldemort for underestimating kids in order to not fail him again because of it). Remus did not look away from Bellatrix, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw his wand not too far away. He just needed to stall her. And then he could get his wand and get away from here. It was just a matter of what Prongslet was doing, and if he had yet to dispatch the last Death Eater besides Bellatrix. They could get out of this thing alive, and... mostly whole.

James' focus was on guaranteeing that no one would touch his teenage father like he had promised moments earlier, yet that meant keeping a close eye and an open ear to everything happening around him. He saw as Nymphadora and then Remus went for Bellatrix. He knew the insane woman's fame and what came later was not unexpected to the young Potter. Now he had to get rid of the Death Eater who had cursed him and had just been punched by Tonks, leaving her weakened. That punch was something he'd expect from other fighters like his namesake Sirius Black, who unfortunately he never got the chance to meet, time travel and all. The Death Eater he had previously immobilized was now being tortured by Bellatrix because she wasn't happy with the fact Remus had made her miss her target. By the way, what was wrong with Lupin and missing his spells? That was not what he knew about the man who was father to Teddy at all. Whatever. Everyone was entitled to have a bad day, especially after being tortured and having to protect a wife that doesn't want to be protected, it seemed to the boy. Now James knew it was up to him to try to get everyone out in one piece. There was just one little problem with that. He was not in one piece. Damned cursed gash, he thought. It would probably bleed him to death if he moved that arm too much before dealing with it. Yet, it would have to be him to take both Tonks and Harry away from there. That meant he had to risk moving his injured arm. Remus was too far away from the three of them now. At least he had taken Bellatrix's attention upon him. James knew that he had to do something that would take out the other opponent left and at the same time distract Bellatrix enough for Remus to be able to retrieve his close-by fallen wand and disapparate away. Actually those were not his only problems right now and he just figured that out. Where would they go to? It had to be a place Remus would know where to go, but not Bellatrix and it would have to be at least a little safe for them to get themselves together again and heal, wake up, etc… In the span of a few moments his young mind searched through its memories for the perfect location and it did come out. Once, a few years ago, MacGonagall had told some of the camp kids about a place the First Order of The Phoenix used to use on Hogsmeade as a safe house. She was telling them a story on the first Order, the one his grandparents had been members of, about what exactly was not important right now. James had checked the place during last year just in case. It was still there, though a little untidy due to lack of use for a good deal of time. He hoped Remus would remember it and follow them in. "Bombarda!" Seconds after the spell was heard a small explosion was seen at the floor between the last Death Eater and Bellatrix, closer to the former on purpose, throwing him backwards and putting him out of action. Some detached stones from the pavement did reach Bellatrix's back, though not with enough force to cause anything but further annoyance and the needed distraction. James did not loose time. "Remus, remember that place in Hogsmeade? Safehouse, First War? Going that way now." He said loud enough so Lupin could hear and then unceremoniously, already having approached her as he spoke, grabbed Nymphadora's arm with a hooked one of his own, the one whose hand was currently carrying his wand still at the ready, and then literally dragged her a few steps to get closer to Harry again. He kneeled in a fast move, pulling Tonks' arm slightly in the process, and reached for Harry's arm with the hand of his injured one. A sharp cry could be heard from the boy and in its wake the three disappeared with a pop, leaving behind only a small pond of James' red blood. Sure the whole Apparition just made things worse. As the three reappeared within the safe house's living room, James, having lost a good deal of blood through his injury during the transportation, did not have the time to allow his mind to completely register his success before it was taken by blackness. As he felt he was loosing his senses after finally letting go of his focus to transport them there, an act made possible by sheer Potter stubbornness, he let his wand fall with a noise on the wooden floor, also not registered by him, let go of Nymphadora's arm and not exactly sure if he had succeeded or not, James simply allowed his body to fall over his father's still trying to defend him and hoping Tonks would protect them if need be. ((OOC: The trick here, as I thought it, is using DADA to stop the curse on his wound, which both Tonks and Lupin can do. After that simple treatments for semi-deep cuts like a tourniquet or local pressure can do to stop the bleeding. I do think that James could wake up for them to talk a little before Harry does after he gets some help. Since they are still in Hogsmeade, the thread can simply go on too. ))

Before being dragged away, Tonks was screaming. She didn't want to leave Remus, he could die and she wouldn't be there to try and help. She started to cry, "No, no! I'm not leaving with out Remus!" But her cries were useless. She was apperated out. She hardly had time to react when whom ever took her fell over.
"Oh my god!" She yelled. This kid had passed out and she wasn't sure what to do. After a slight panic, she realized he was bleeding. At first she was sqemish, she really wasn't all that used to a lot of blood. She looked around, there had to be a cloth and water in the vicinity. She smacked her forehead with her left hand. The right still hurt considerably, it looked a bit funny too. She cast episkey and it felt a bit better. Now to help the boy.
She whispered, "Accio cloth." And one came flying in a bit later. She grabbed it and then used aquamenti to get it wet. She rolled him off of Harry. Oh lord, was he heavy. Why did he have to be heavy? She looked at his arm and started to dab at it. She had to stem the flow, where ever it was. She winced at one point, falling on her side to stop it from hurting. She was upset as well, she didn't know where her husband was or if he was alive. It was like their flight back in the summer.
"One of you please wake up. Please I need help, please.." A tear rolled down her cheek. "Remus, please be alive.."

He was just waiting for the perfect distraction and that boy provided it. Remus had to ask him later who that James look alike really was. It couldn't have been his friend from the past. But he couldn't think about that any farther, as the instant James cast the spell that created the distraction, Remus acted quickly. He reached for his wand, jumped to his feet, and pointed it in the general direction of Bellatrix, sending a curse, before he apparated away.
How did that boy know of this place? This was more than a little weird. It was almost as if James had come from the past and saved him just like in their youth. James was dead, though, and Remus couldn't save him from that trouble then. And yet he was saved once more, and just the way the boy fought made him think back to when he, James, Sirius, and Peter (grudgingly he admitted it in his head, but he had to admit, Peter was very close to them in school, until about a year before James and Lily died). The safehouse was a secret only the Order members of the first war knew about. Sure they were about to tell the other Order members and hide there, and Remus had been thinking of hiding Tonks and their little Teddy, but this boy knew of it somehow. Maybe it wasn't so safe anymore.
Remus looked around the safe-house living room immediately seeing the three people who should have been there if he interpreted the boy's hint well enough, and it meant that he did. He saw both Harry and the boy unconscious, and Nymphadora crying with them. He ran up next to her, and knelled before the two boys.
"Dora. I told you not to fight... Are you alright?" Remus stated and placed his wand over James's wounds, and muttering the spell 'Vulnera Sanentur' to heal up James's wound and make it mostly disappear, though he had a feeling a scar may last on the young boy. He had a lot of questions to ask the boy. And he also wanted to thank the boy for saving his wife, Harry, and probably him as well for the distraction. He felt really off because he did not seem to be able to fight well in that fight. Remus hadn't been able to hit his targets as much as he usually did. Either he was losing his touch, was distracted, or the fact that the Death Eaters were better than he anticipated. In his mind, he was slapping himself for letting the battle go on for so long. He had to get better, or he wouldn't be able to save one of the last people he loved (Harry didn't count, even if Remus did see Harry as a nephew figure, because that was a whole different kind of love).
After he was finished repairing James's injuries, he turned to Harry, and began casting a few spells he had picked up that were supposed to help with a blow to the head and 'Enervate' to help counter the stunning spell. Harry was still in for a world of hurt when he did fully regain consciousness. It wouldn't be long before both boys were up. While Remus did love his Nymphadora very much, he needed to ask James how he knew of this place and what was his relationship with the James Potter he knew.

Slowly James came to after being healed by Remus. His body shook a little before his eyes opened again. He jerked his upper body up to begin gauging his environment, finally noticing he had lost his wand. Well, at least he had managed to arrive where he intended to take them. He looked around him and to his left saw both Remus and Tonks. He flashed them a shinning and happy smile. He was glad that Moony had understood his tip and had arrived there well enough to recover from their encounter. "Has anyone seen my wand? I'll kind of need that later..." He said casually.
Fast after that he looked to his right and saw his teenage dad, his eyes notably lingered on Harry to check on him, who was still unconscious from being hit in the battle. No. That was more a skirmish than a battle. James had seen true battles before in his short life. He seemed to be sleeping peacefully, which generally didn't mean anything good, but this time he knew he had managed to save Harry from death and what hit him was just a stunning spell. Sometimes he really had to thank whatever greater power that had given him that gift, even though he did have a sort of love/hate relationship towards it.
James took Harry's glasses and folded them carefully, so he would feel slightly more comfortable on the head when he woke up. He also stood up and placed Harry over the couch nearby with some difficulty. The care with which he was looking and taking care of Harry was noticeable. After a few seconds he finally turned his attention to his arm, noticing how well it had been healed. "Thanks to whoever fixed me! I feel grand already, though a little weak. I guess it's because I've lost some blood. Nothing that a little rest won't help with, right? It tingles a bit too." He said flashing a smile to the Lupin couple as he took a seat leaning his back against the couch he had just placed Harry over.
"Oh! I guess that's gonna leave a mark on my pretty arm…" James joked. "Well, my first war wound was already late in coming anyway… I'll wear it with pride!" He stated with a smile and a light tone, but also meaning it. True, dad Sr. had never allowed him into the larger battles, though he wanted to help him in them, but James had seen a fair share of combat in his life. Just because he didn't go to the front, so to speak, often, it didn't mean he and his siblings weren't often the target of failed attempted attacks. Maybe the Death Eaters were just sloppier in the future. It usually happened when you were in power instead of the party nearly guerrilla fighting to achieve it.
"You guys are OK? Can I help somehow? I'm not that great with healing spells though. I wish I knew more of them actually…" James revealed honestly. Though if they needed something, he'd try something. If it would work or not was a whole different ball game. He wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't good with healing magic. He'd always had others better at it nearby when it was needed. Maybe he should try to learn more on that, but now it wouldn't be possible. Certainly not while he was on the run with his dad, aunt and uncle. Well, he still had to convince his dad to allow him to go with them, but James thought that the gift he brought Harry would get him his father's trust or at least begin that process.

Tonks was in so much pain. She could tell Teddy was throwing a tantrum. He didn't like apperating in the womb. Now, he was taking all that anger out on his mother. Tonks started to gag, she quickly crawled away hoping they would understand what she was doing. She grabbed the nearest bin and gave out a few toss cookies. She spit into the bin after she was done and tossed it aside. Even then, she looked horrible.
She looked at her husband, "He doesn't like me apperating more than once in a day. I think it hurts him, and he responds by kicking me." she said standing up and moving her now limp brown hair out of her face. She rubbed her eyes, "I know you told me not to fight, but I couldn't sit back and watch. I kept feeling like you were going to get hurt if I hadn't stepped in. You saw what she did, Remus. She wants my life. She wants me gone." she broke down in sobs. Her shoulders shook so horribly, it looked almost as if she were going to have seziure.
She looked over at the boy and tossed the wand she'd seen on the floor a bit earlier. "This it?" she choked. "You . . . dropped it on the way in." she sniffed. Her throat hurt, her hand was still stinging from her breaking it earlier. It still looked purple, she wasn't exactly sure her spell had worked correctly. "Um, does my hand look broken to either of you? And about your arm, and blood loss. You should drink some juice, or water, and get something to eat. It's not a pretty picture when you're running on an empty blood tank." Before questions were asked, she stated, "I had a summer job at a blood bank thank you!"
"Hold a kid in your stomach kid, then tell me about wearing something with pride." Tonks shook her head. She made sure to stay near Remus just incase something happened. Either she'd take a stunning spell for him or he'd jump in front of her. Which ever one it would end up being, she knew she should stay near him.
"If you call ready to barf, and having severe pain in your ribs okay, then I'm the picture of health." Tonks said sarcastically. She squeaked loud enough that it was possible for anyone in South America to hear it. "Oh, no, I think he just broke one of my ribs. One of you fix it! Is the room spinning?" she said falling into a chair. She was starting to get paler and paler the longer she stayed standing.

When Remus saw Nymphadora getting sick, and rushed over to her when she sat in the chair. He sighed. This was why he wanted to keep her from fighting. It was for them all. Remus wouldn't be worried about loosing Tonks and their little baby at the same time. And she was sick right now, and their Teddy Bear (which the name reminded him of Teddy, his cousin, but it was a name after his father-in-law, so he'd be fine with a similar name to his supposed cousin), was not happy obviously.
And then there was this boy who was Prongs resurrected before him. Remus needed to find out what was going on with the boy and who he was, as well as take care of his wife. Why did things always end up so complicated for Remus. Harry should be waking up, but he wasn't. James resurrected wasn't saying anything without him asking about it, which he thought may make a fool out of him, and his wife was in pain, because of what he did to her. Well that, and the fact he couldn't get them out of the skirmish himself.
"Here," Remus turned his wand to Nymphadora and cast a mending spell that should help with her rib and her hand, "It's fine now, but Nymphadora, I am a trained fighter, just as you are, I can take care of myself in these matters. I won't let Bellatrix take you from me." He smiled at her and looked in her eyes, which had tears in them. "Everything will be fine, Dora," he said wiping a few tears from her face, kissing her cheek slightly.
Now it was time to deal with the James resurrection. Even that part about how he was going to wear his scar proudly sounded like the James that Remus knew so many years ago. It was absurd to think that his boy really was James resurrected in a younger form. "Who are you?" Remus questioned intercepting the wand as Tonks tossed it to the boy. Just because he helped them back there didn't mean they could trust them. It was actually fairly comical, as when Remus intercepted the wand, he nearly caught it, but due his not as great Seeker instincts (he would never have been considered anywhere near a good seeker, which is why he played it once and never did again when his friends played a mini-Quidditch game while in school). Still, it wasn't harmed in anyway. "I truly am sorry, but we can't trust you, as it would be a brilliant plan of the Death Eaters to plant someone who reminded me of an old friend, gain our trust, and backstab us when the time was right." He was never a trusting person, and so when someone reminded him of a past friend, it brought back the memories of the days when he still had all three, who were all dead (in his mind, Peter was dead to him), and could trust some people. But he couldn't afford to trust this James Impersonator until he had proof that this boy could be trusted.
Harry slowly awoke, not being able to seem to move his eyelids. It felt as if he was hit by a truck and he was going to die. Memories of what had happened flooded in, that boy helping them, Bellatrix, Remus, Tonks. He heard voices wherever he was, and felt fear immediately. Did Bellatrix or the other death eaters take him? Was he coming to kill him? But he didn't feel his scar burning. Voldemort wasn't coming, he couldn't have, there was nothing telling him that. His scar felt just as it always did these days, prickling, but not something he didn't expect. He then heard a voice saying that someone would wear the scar with pride.
Harry cursed at himself at that moment. He was dead, and he was hearing his father's voice. Harry after all, did know his father's voice and looks from that memory he viewed last year of Snape's worst memory. James had come to take him away to the afterlife, he just knew it. Harry wished for it not to be so, but there was no stopping it now that he was dead. Only if he could've seen Ginny one last time before he had died. He wanted to tell her how he was in love with her, and how he couldn't live without her. Harry wanted to tell her everything he was feeling, but he blew his chance and ended up dead. He'd have to wait until she grew up, married another man, had a family, and died before he could tell her. Voldemort wasn't defeated. He just had to have faith that Hermione and Ron could finish his job and defeat Voldemort, no matter what that prophecy said.
"Ginny..." Harry managed to breathe through his mouth that seemed to refuse his every command. He soon heard another familiar voice, however. Remus. Wait. Remus died too? He had a baby on the way... Tonks would have to raise the kid alone. No, no! Please, don't let it be so. All the love in the world was needed, including theirs to raise spirits and show that love could prevail even in the darkest of times. Harry forced his eyes open, expecting to be on a cloud with the faces of those he loved, including his parents, Remus and Sirius (heck, while he didn't love him, Cedric too, after all, he witnessed Cedric's death, and felt loyalty and care towards the boy, while not being even friends per se), but was sorely mistaken when he saw himself in the safehouse.
He was let down that this could be heaven. He certainly saw his father without glasses, and figured that he wanted to look like he was 17 for Remus to remember the good school days, but the more and more he saw the room, the more it felt ridiculous to think he was dead. This was not heaven. He was alive and not very well, but he was alive. That was a good thing.
"Where am I?" Harry managed to force out, his functions slowly returning. The place felt like it was spinning to him, and didn't feel like he was just stunned, perhaps because of hitting his head as he fell or something. "The room... is spinning," Harry stated in response to Tonks's question, closing his eyes trying to relieve the nauseous feeling he was feeling. His body ached, his head was hurting everywhere besides, surprisingly, his scar, and he felt like he was going to die.

As soon as James took his seat on the floor leaning his back against the couch over which his father was currently still unconscious, he saw Nymphadora returning and falling over the chair nearby. She certainly wasn't the first pregnant woman he had ever seen and they generally felt nauseous and felt the baby kicking in their belly. Women were crazy in his point of view, still placing babies in this horrible world. Well… at least the last ones were born into a better place with no Voldemort. It was incredible that he felt bad for taking the life of such a horrible man. Maybe he was just made of better stuff. James just heard the conversation between husband and wife trying not to intrude or to seem that he wasn't even there listening, but when Remus said he was a trained fighter just like her and could take care of himself James had to chuckle. It wasn't exactly what his eyes had seen. Anyway, he decided to give them a brake. Get attacked out of the blue when you are having what possibly was just a walkabout may not be what everyone expects nowadays like it was in his time. Every resistance member was a paranoid person always looking around to see if there wasn't any attackers nearby. Or maybe that was just him, as besides being a Potter himself and thus in the list of most likely Death Eater targets, he still had his siblings to warn and safeguard. James made a silent prayer for Remus' words to be heard. That everything would indeed turn out fine. That they wouldn't both die soon and leave Teddy parentless like his dad. James nodded when Tonks asked if that was his wand, but when she tossed it Remus intercepted it. Again he just had to chuckle, but hey this time the scene was really funny. Anyway, right after such a light moment came the dreaded question. What would James say? Should he tell them the truth? They'd probably think he was a nutter or worse that he was lying. Give them his alias? Then he'd actually be lying. Could Remus be perceptive enough to tell the difference? Should he try to throw a crazy move and say he was his gramps from the past who time traveled? After all a 17 year old and 20 year old aren't that physically different and people who had known him always said that he looked just like his gramps, even more than Harry, maybe because of his equally hazel eyes and mischievous temperament. He knew he could convince Tonks and Harry, who knew just as much as he did about his gramps, but Remus was a personal friend and it would be more difficult to convince him. At least the time travel part would be true in that alternative. While he decided what he would say, as if noticing that he was hesitant, Remus offended him. Yes, James took what Lupin said as a personal offense, which made his blood boil and his mind enter a I must retaliate now mode. "By the way, I'm the guy who got out of his way to save your sorry arse, your wife, your child and Harry. Would you trust me better if I had bled to death on this floor? It doesn't look like you can pass the opportunity to get new allies and honestly, Remus John Lupin…" James was clearly indignant and sarcastic in his tone of voice until he said Remus' full name. He did so just because it was his name as this James didn't know that his gramps usually only used Moony's full name when he was really mad at him, which were rare occasions. "Do you really think that I, James Potter, out of all people would pull a Pettigrew on you? I'm not a damn rat!" James said outraged and when he noticed what had just escaped his mouth… Well, what was done was done. Now what was left to see was where those words would take him. James felt slight movements on his back. Dad jr. was waking up. Finally. He brought himself to smile again as he heard Harry say his mother's name. She was the first thing he thought about as he woke up. Oh, there was so much hope that he'd come to be all over again. He just had to keep them both alive and make the world a better place for him to be reborn into. Simple and easy thing, right? Not so much. Then Harry asked where they were in a louder voice. James stood up half way and took a seat besides Harry's body over the couch in the little free space left. He passed a waving hand on his forehead barely touching it to remove the hair so he could see where his injury was. Yeah, no good. He really did hit his head bad according to the residual scrape marks still there after Lupin's spells. "We're in a safe place, Harry. Don't worry and don't force yourself up. We've got time. As long as no one says psychotic V's name out loud, no one will find us here. I've heard there is a taboo now on his name. Easy way to catch Order members since we are the only ones brave enough to fight back and say his name. You've hit your head pretty hard, it seems by the scrapes that used to be on your forehead. Everything is gonna be OK though. You're safe." James replied and held his father's right hand between his as he reiterated that he was safe. "I guess the room is spinning due to different reasons for everyone here, Harry. Either because of blood loss, pregnancy, torture or blow to the head. Head count, by the way, is you, me, Remus and she who must not be named a.k.a. Mrs. Lupin or Tonks. We're quite a band of people in need to patch up." James said trying to keep the humor going so his dad would feel stronger soon. James then slowly, due to his own condition, kneeled besides the couch and took Harry's shoes. He began to gently pressure certain points of his body in order to give relief to his symptoms like stress, pain and nausea. He had learnt acupressure due to Lily's bone pains while she was growing up. There were just no spells that did the deed then. A muggleborn in the camp who knew the technic taught him when he was about 13 years old and then Lily never felt pain in her legs again. James was not great with healing spells, but he was indeed great with his hands. "Does it feel at least a bit better, Harry?" He asked his father in a kind tone of voice. James wanted to help ease Nymphadora's and Remus' discomfort too and maybe even calm little Teddy somewhat. He knew it was possible as he had done so in similar situations before. Pregnant women and tortured people abounded in the future. "I'd really like to try to help you guys too, I just don't want to be AK'ed as I approach, OK? I really mean no harm." He said trying to lighten the mood and again completely oblivious of another something that connected him to his gramps, whom he had never seen. Prongs also had similar ability with his hands, learned to ease the pains of his elderly parents at home, and had many times used it to help Remus after full moons. ((OOC: OK. I just have no idea where all the acupressure thing came from or if it's completely accurate either, but I liked the idea and decided to write it in anyway. ))

Tonks didn't want to by sympathized too much. Just being able to fight still was an accomplishment in her eyes. Even if she missed work and had been sitting in bed a lot of the time, she liked going for walks around the house, or taking a trip to the Burrow. It was nice to see Molly too. She was even happier though to be with her loved ones. Once her rib was fixed and she'd decided to sit still, Teddy decided he was going to calm down for now. "I will be so happy to not have to deal with the rib kicking in a few months. Then he'll be making my eardrums burst in the middle of the night. Although, I'm not dealing with him during the day. Nope nope. That'll be his father's job because mom will be sleeping still." Tonks rubbed her forehead.
"While that may be true, I am just and true. As well as loyal. I'll push you down, if it means your life gets spared. One of us always has to live, okay?" Tonks placed a hand on his cheek and smiled. He always made her happier even when she was on the brink of breaking down. "Light can be found in even the darkest of times, but only if one remembers to turns on the light. Albus Dumbledore." she kissed his forehead and her hair started to turn pink again.
"Im not letting you teach Ted how to play quidditch. He won't learn to catch things right away." Tonks joked. She looked at her husband, to the boy, and back again. Was he really saying all that? While she understood where he was coming from, he'd saved her life, not to mention Harry's. Then the boy said his name and she grasped Remus's hand tightly. "That's impossible. James Potter is dead. He died years ago. You shouldn't play with people's heads unless you want yours to roll across the floor. And don't speak to any of us in that tone boy!" she was having a mood swing, no doubt about it. Anger was not a pretty color on her. Ones she realized what was going on she backed up and apologized. "Sorry. I get a bit moody now a days. Didn't mean it like that."
When Harry woke up Tonks gasped and jumped. He was awake already, he needed to sleep. Oh lord what was wrong with her? "Urgh, pregnancy doesn't help when you want to fight the urge to be motherly." she growled smacking her forehead. In response to the boy claiming to be James, she looked to her husband for his response then gave her own. "It depends on what you mean. I won't kill you unless I have good reason to. I'm an auror, we only kill if necessary. Otherwise it's a chase to hint everyone down and put them in Azkaban. Sometimes it's good being the cop."
