Teddy had entered the castle through the Room of Requirement, having known about it from Uncle Harry and his friends. Neville had told him all about his Hogwarts exploits this year, and he knew that today, the DA would get caught and a good few of them would be tortured, lowering morale. Since Teddy knew about it, he wanted to prevent it, because the DA could use as much morale as possible. He didn't tell Sophie or anyone he was going to do this, because they would just try to talk him out of it, and temporal change blah blah blah don't know the consequences, blah blah blah.
Teddy made it to the fifth floor, when he heard footsteps coming from nearby. He couldn't be caught, and so he hurried down a corridor, and hid behind a suit of armor. The footsteps went away, and Teddy got out of hiding, and walked down the corridor. Since he hadn't been in Hogwarts much of his life, he didn't know his way around the school. And now he was lost.
Teddy began wandering around the corridor, looking for a staircase. He had studied the Hogwarts map Uncle Harry had, just in case he would go there, hopeful the war would end before he became of age. It didn't happen that way, obviously. Teddy was lost, and he was worried someone would find him and know he didn't belong. If someone who didn't know much of what was going on came around, perhaps he could come up with a story, but he wasn't good with coming up with a story on the spot. He heard more footsteps, but the stretch of the corridor was too long, and there was no where to run. Teddy turned towards where the footsteps were coming from and waited, ready to pull his wand if it was someone who could probably make his job harder.

Clarie had just rounded her way around the corner of the corridors when she realized she should probably be doing her homework. Oh well, she had a handful of books that she had just gotten from the library and was ready to read them! Now all she had to do was find a secluded area to sit down and relax. By the time she noticed there was a person standing in a defensive position, Clarie stopped in mid-step.
He had on odd clothes. None that she had seen inside the Hogwarts gates, that is. Maybe he was just a guest from the Head Master, or an intruder. Pushing the bad thought away, Clarie eyed the odd fellow. "Hello, are you lost?" She said very slowly and calmly, not to make him pounce on her.
Seeing as it was none of her business to know who he was, Clarie didn't push the subject any further. The last thing she needed was to scare the soul right out of him and have him hurt her. If he wanted to say more, then he could if not, she would pretend she never saw a thing and helped him go about his way. If it was a federal matter later on, Clarie would simply say she thought he was a new professor.
If they didn't fall for that, maybe they would believe he threatened her if she went to anyone. Yes, now all she had to do was act calmly and be careful. He was suspicious but if he didn't want her to know, she wouldn't push the subject any further. The more she knew, the more trouble she could be in for letting a stranger walk about the Hogwarts gates. [/center]

Teddy saw a young student come around, and he sighed with a breath of relief. If it was one of them Carrows he would've been in for a world of hurt. All Teddy wanted to do was to help out the DA and save them from the tortures they were going to go through after being caught this time. Sure it could just put off the capture and recording of some of the lesser known DA members, but he couldn't just sit around and do nothing when he knew it was going to happen. Surely Uncle Harry would understand, he was like that before.
"Er yeah.. I need to go to the dungeons... I have to do something for the Headmaster," Teddy replied, lying of course, but it would make Snape happier on the inside, knowing that the DA hadn't been crushed for morale this time around, and would keep going against the evil within Hogwarts, and keep hope for the students that one day the Death Eaters would be back. It would give them more hope that they could keep going and not get caught.
"Would you show me the way?" Teddy asked, "Though, not all the way, if I get to the Entrance Hall again I can find my way the rest." He didn't want to endanger this girl. If she would help him along, he would be very grateful, because otherwise he could arrive late and his entrance into Hogwarts would be in vain. He never did anything without reason, even if it was a terrible reason to do so, it was still a reason.

Clarie rose an eyebrow, wanting to question what the man was saying but she dismissed it. Instead she decided to ask jokingly, "So you know that the dungeons means going downstairs not upstairs, right?"
Though she did have a point, maybe he just came in somewhere upstairs. After all, Clarie had heard that there were secret passage ways so it was a possibility, even if she had never seen them. Harry Potter found many, or that was the rumors she had heard around school.
But either way, it did make sense he would be doing something for the Headmaster. There's been a few strangers walking around the halls of Hogwarts that were certainly not students or professors. Clarie didn't quiet know what they were doing but it had something to do with the Headmaster.
She waved her hand as to gesture for him to follow her as she started walking towards the staircase. Maybe they were just keeping the Headmaster up to date with all the outside chaos, who would know other than them themselves?
It was a good guess that this man was no Death Eater, well he didn't seem like one. That was a plus, but he was peculiar. Clarie just shook her head, hoping he didn't notice her confusion and pushed those thoughts out of her head.
