Astrid pulled her maternity top on and groaned. She hated it. She had just started wearing them and she was sure she looked horrible. She was twenty now. She was planning to go see Tristan the guy she had met during her time in the past. He was like one of her best friends. They hadn't seen eachother since Astrid had figured out she was pregnant with her husbands baby. She had been super busy with other things.
Astrid clicked her fingers and apparated to Hogsmeade. She sighed and walled towards the candy shop. She was really craving treats, she knew Tristan would figure she was here since she always changed up where they met because it amused her. She smiled and waved at a few people and then began browsing through the candy choices.

Tristan was already about 40 years old, not quite, but he would turn 40 this year. It had been years since the future kids came to his time in his 6th year at Hogwarts, where he had made friends with several of the future kids, including the soon to be mother, Astrid. Tristan and Astrid had a good time hanging out when she had suddenly come back remembering him. It was really cool, though Tristan had almost forgotten, though he didn't.
It was time to meet up again. She kept changing where they would meet up, to the unknown reason to Tristan, but he didn't mind. It was time to go to Hogsmeade. He apparated with a loud crack. This wasn't the greatest future, since Voldemort was dead by now. After Tristan had met his wife, he really turned towards the Dark Lord's side and became a Death Eater. When the Dark Lord died, well he was let down as most of his kind were. It didn't matter much now. Tristan was heading for Honeydukes, where he was sure Astrid would be... and sure enough there she was. Tristan entered quitely and came up behind her.
"What have I told you about eating sweets before supper?" Tristan joked like he was her father though he really wasn't.

Astrid was grabbing some treats when she heard the voice behind her. It surprised her and she squeaked slightly. She hid her smile and turned to glare at him "I dont care what you say, you've already grounded me like a million times!" She was struggling to hide her smile and finally broke into a grin. She noticed a few people giving them glances but she ignored them and gave Tristan a hug. People didnt really understand how they were friends, but that was okay.
"How are you, Tristan?" She asked as she looked back at the candy and tried to decide what she wanted more. She saw one kind was edible dark marks. They looked pretty good, really choclatey or something, she guessed. She saw some of the every flavored beans and picked up a handful and put them in her candy bag. She wasnt stealing, she always paid for her candy. She moved a little bit more down the row and examined an unfamilar peice of candy, unsure of if she should get it or not.

Tristan caught the looks of several people with the looks of 'how in the world are they friends?', but he ignored them, used to the feeling. He just hoped that they didn't think he was the father of her baby, since that could get really awkward, though Tristan usually shook it off. As she had said so many years, he had three chilredn, a year apart a piece, two boys, one girl, and he was married. It was quite a good life, even without the Dark Lord ruling, though him not wasn't the best outcome to Tristan.
"I'm great! How about Junior there?" Tristan asked about her baby in her belly, "And you of course." He chuckled to himself, "I'm just so excited to be a grandfather!" Tristan was joking about that last part, though he was sure that he would be soon. Luke and Tom, well they were probably going to get married soon, and if not Tristan would force them to, and Annabeth probably would be a mother not too long from now. He was quite excited about Astrid's baby.

Astrid grinned at him. "The doctor said it was gonna be a girl, last time i visited." She paused for a moment. "I havent told my husband yet, but..i need to tell someone. It might be twins!" She squeaked a little bit at the last part. She was really excited for this and she knew it was pretty obvious since she was constantly talking about it. She smiled at him when he said the part about being a grandfather. "I was actually thinking, if my husband agrees, that you could possibly be the god father?" She mentioned it casually. She had talked to her husband about it and he was considering it. Tristan was one of her best friend so she didnt see anything wrong with it.
Astrid grabbed a few more candies and threw them in her bag. There were to many choices she decided as she kept gazing them over, occasionally glancing at Tristan to make sure he was still near her as she walked around looking at the candies.

God father? Of twins? It was amazing to think of it. Tristan hadn't been godfather before, father yes, godfather no. It was pretty cool to be told he was the godfather of two kids, if it was twins of course. Tristan's face looked surprised for just a second before his smile spread on his face like wildfire. Tristan was excited about it. Hopefully her husband would agree.
"That would be fantastic! Twins! This is so exciting!" Tristan replied happily with his grin larger than it had been in awhile, "I would love to be godfather! It would be such an honor!"

Astrid laughed at his excitement it made her ten times more excited then she was before. "Im glad you like that idea. Im pretty smart when it comes to thinking up ideas." She grinned. She knew he would like the suggestion. She touched her tummy and felt a gentle kick which caused her to smile even more. This was an amazing day.
Astrid made her way to the counter and paid for the treats she had chosen. She could not wait to pig out on them, if she could. Her stomach didnt always agree with what she was craving which was probably normal.

Tristan simply smiled watching her buy her candies eagerly. It had been a good amount of time since he had seen her last, well before she came back to this time of course. Tristan thought that he might not even make it this far into the future, but here he was.
"Of course you are, you are a very smarticle person," Tristan replied.

Astrid made her way towards the door of the shop. "Im glad you agree about my smartness. She poked him in the side.
"So how are my brothers and sister?" She was referring to his children. She didnt really pay attention to what they did, they were all Slytherins like her but she had never really been close friends with them.

Tristan smiled at the fact she called them her brothers and sisters, since she really didn't seem like a daughter, more of a friend to him. Tristan thought about it for a second. Luke was the same age as her and Tom, well Tom was Tom, a year younger than her, and Annabeth was eighteen. All of them were graduated and began their lives outside of Hogwarts.
"They're all doing really well. Luke's wedding is this Saturday. You were invited right?" Tristan began, "Tom and Annabeth are doing pretty well too, still deciding on what they'll do for a job."

Astrid had been invited to the wedding and had already decided what to wear to the event, although she had had to buy specialy fit clothes for it. She decided to play clueless about the wedding. "I was supposed to be invited? I never got a letter. I heard about it but never got anything about it" Astrid widened her eyes at him like she was actually surprised about it.
She yawned and stretched then smiled at him. The whole being pregnant thing made her exhausted all the time.

Tristan went slightly wide-eyed thinking he would have a word with Luke who had sent out the invitations. Or it could've been the owls or something. He was so sure she was sent a card though, but he wasn't too sure about it. Tristan calmed down a bit feeling something was off, but trusted her, though he wasn't sure if she was just playing around. "Oh I'll kill that boy... Anyways, you are invited," Tristan replied quickly.
