Tonks had finished putting on her layers and smacked her legs they were big and puffy.. She really looked like a fat penguin. It all made her look fat, great.. that made her feel better.
"I'm tired, don't mess with me in the mornings..." she said half asleep, "I'm not sure why I feel like its three in the morning but I'm tired.

Remus simply smiled and did not really respond. He went to the tent's entrance and waited for Tonks to arrive. At least he felt slightly better once he had his feelings out there, though it was still awkward around her. For now he would just pretend nothing happened, unless she brought it up and then maybe he would actually talk about them.
"I'm heading out now, get stuff ready to pack up the tent, once you're out, well I'll try to pack it," Remus stated walking out of the door. He might as well do most of the work so the spell didn't have to do much, if it even worked.

Tonks waddled over to the door looking almost dead. She looked so tired like she was about to fall as keep sleeping, espicially when she was as warm as she was now.. She reached the door and stepped out it looking around. This time she didn't feel as cold and ended up slipping for the um-teenth time that trip. After sliding like a penguin for a short period she stood back up and sat on some ice.
"I'm done in there.. lets get going before I fall asleep again.." she yawned and hid her face back in her many layers, it was so nice and cozy at that moment.

Lupin simply smiled slightly as Tonks fell, and waved his wand a couple of time without any luck, and then finally about the eleventh time the tent packed itself back up.
"Let's go now." Remus said walking over to her offering her to go on ahead.

Tonks stood and waddled in the wrong direction, she was still in what could be called sleep mode. At the current point she thought she'd been dreaming the night before. What was worse was she wasn't even sure she'd even be able to use her magic as they drew nearer to their destination. Although, with the right amount of focus (as if she had any), a shape other than ice could be seen.
Turning around, Tonks looked the sections of ice. To her they looked the exactly identical. She cocked her head to the side asking herself, which way did they come from?

"This way," Remus said hurrying and offering her the right way, with his serious face on, which didn't look too serious, but still serious, " Unless you want to abandon the mission." Remus began the right way, feeling whatever they were looking for was up ahead, and almost could swear he saw something in the distance, but he assured himself it was just his imagination. Remus made sure to stay next to Tonks, to make sure that she didn't fall too much and was ready if she would fall. How did he know which way they were supposed to go? Well, he wasn't sure, but he had a feeling, and tended to trust his gut instincts, which he did with Tonks and what he said to her, though he was careful what he trusted with his instincts. One couldn't go through life without thinking and not turn out dead quickly. But he had a strong instinct about where they were going, almost as if whatever they were looking for was pulling him towards it. ((Editing to Skip Time)) They had been walking for a few hours, not too long, and it turns out it was quite quiet as they walked. Up ahead there was something glowing the in the distance. Remus looked around at those with him. Lupin walked up closer and as he approached the light it became brighter, almost blinding in magnitude. "Stay back, I'm going to get a bit closer," Remus called back, knowing that his life out of everyone else's was the most disposable, not that any life really was, just his was most. Remus kept walking slowly towards the light, still blinding, and then, poof it was gone. There was nothing, no light ahead of him, just blowing snow. Remus looked behind him and saw the light behind him. He turned around looking around the large light, but did not see his fellow travelers. Remus looked around confused, and then stepped through the light filled area once more. He came back through and looked around curiously seeing Tonks there. Remus looked back at the light and back at Tonks. "I dunno what the heck it is." Remus said quickly squinting at the light nearby, "Leads somewhere else on the continent I guess, I dunno... but..." Remus looked to the side and saw a small contraption, "But this is what is causing the field blocking out magic, I think." Remus walked over to the contraption and turned the switch to off. He pulled out his wand, and used Incendio, which worked. He assumed he was right. Then he looked back where the light was, and it was no longer there. "Interesting," Remus muttered to himself, and looked curiously at the box he picked up. ". "What do you guys think?"

George had watched Lupin disappear and reappear through the light orb in front of him. As he and Tonks waited for Lupin to come back, it was silent. George wasn't sure what to say to the silent Tonks, this one was scary and didn't really like jokes like the real her.
When he returned, George stood from where he'd been sitting in the snow. He kept his hands in his pockets as Lupin talked. He nodded and then made himself a small portable fire.
"So what did that have to do with the transfers? All I got out of that was that a ball of light transported a person from one side of the continent to the other." he shrugged.

Truthfully? He had no idea. Remus brainstormed theories, and looked at the box he had picked up. It definitely looked muggle in origin. Remus looked up at Tonks and George before looking back at the box. It was small in nature, black, with only one switch. If Remus were to guess the muggles made it, set it off here, and ran when they saw the affects, or went through it, which would not explain why they left it, so he suspected ran when they saw it.
"I dunno, maybe the transfers were from some other place than the US? Maybe it didn't transport me anywhere... maybe it just hide you guys? Or made me travel in time?" Remus mused just talking his thoughts out loud.

George and Tonks had looked at each other with one eye brown raised each. Tonks wasn't talking so she just shook her head. George scratched a spot on his forehead. Travel through time? Muggles? Yeah right, that was one of the dumbest ideas he'd heard all day. George laughed at the thought of muggles running from a ball of light. It made a bit of sense but really? Leave the machine that created it? They deffinitly left to save themselves from something.
"Lupin, I don't think it was either of those.. Maybe they got eaten. This place is full of walrus and leopard seal, it would't be far fetched.." he said, "We may not've been able to see you but I'm pretty sure it was just a rip in a cloaking spell, or the transfers really aren't from this time. Either way, it'd be cool!"

((Just so you know Lupin's been pretty wrong so far)) "I dunno. Maybe it was placed here by a Death Eater? Truthfully I find myself at a loss. I am clueless really. Dumbledore might know much better than we do. Plus it's really cold out here, so we should leave somewhat soon," Lupin replied, " I just hope it's not cursed or something." Many theories raced through his head. Alternate Dimensions, Time Travel, Transportation, Cloacking Spell, and who, well that could be anyone, except for him, and most likely everyone else. "I vote we should go, what do you two think?" Remus asked.

((hehe... not very bright i am...))
George looked at the ground. Had he not heard the pop? There were only two people left, Lupin and himself. He looked up at the sky and then moved his head left and right, then shook it laughing.
"Lupin, I'm guessing you didn't hear the pop? Tonks left while you were talking, she looked mad too.." George laughed, "Just because she's awesome doesn't mean she's stealthy, we all know Tonks is a clutz.. but my point is she's gone.."

((It's not you, Remus just doesn't know, so you know I have to make it seem like he had no actual clue. lol)) Remus looked around then sighed. "Oh... I didn't here... Guess I was too lost in thought..." Why didn't he hear her leave? He had been paying attention to her, though he didn't doubt it, since she had been wanting to leave the moment they stepped onto the ice. "So... I guess Tonks' vote is a yes..." Remus sighed looking around half-wishing Tonks was still around, even if it hurt to be around her. He still wanted to be with her, but he wouldn't allow it. "I'll find her later. George, I think we should leave now, I think. I'll go straight to Dumbledore, and then... I dunno, don't have much else to do, I'll find something," Remus said looking down slightly, though correcting himself after a slight second, though not well since he was now looking slightly at the sky. He felt a bit messed up, disoriented for some reason. He simply looked slightly up and at George thinking that George reminded him of Sirius and James almost, not in appearance but in attitude. Except James would probably go behind his back and tell Tonks that he wanted to go out with him. Remus would've killed James if he did that, if he wasn't already dead.

George looked around, did the air feel different all of the sudden? The mist that'd been covering everything for the longest time had started to settle here too. The dementors made everything worse. He nodded at Lupin, it was deffinitly time to leave. Although the air had gotten a little less tense when Tonks had left, maybe it was coincidence?
George had to laugh, he'd actually flinched when she left so he couldn't really say anything about it, "Why can't you just talk to her? Or write her a letter, it's easier than talking to her.. You wouldn't even have to look at her!"
He nodded again, going to see Dumbledore was a good idea but George couldn't go even if he was asked to, he had to help Fred out around the shop and finish the unfinished products. Not to mention the kids that wanted how to learn their tricks. They were like the Nicholas Flamel of the pranking world. So many apprentices, so little time to get it all done and complete.

Remus thought about it for a little bit. A letter might not be a bad idea, but then, since Tonks seemed mad at him, she might not read it, or not send a response so he wouldn't know if she read it or not. Remus shook his head and sighed.
"It might be easier, but it wouldn't be the same. How would I know if she got the letter or not?" Remus sighed looking at George, the cold building up around him, since his wand hadn't been warming him up all day, since their magic didn't work this close, even if now it did. The wind was barely moving so it didn't add too much cold to the air.

"Well. . . I'm sure that if she did get it she'd leave for a while and just stay away from Europe for a while." George shrugged. Tonks was usually pretty easy to find but when she wanted to be, she could hide away and not be found for the longest time, even Fred and George had issues finding her in a crowd. "As an added plus, mum invites her over every other week for dinner, I'd be able to ask her then."
