Jacob was strolling the halls this fine Monday evening. Dinner had just gotten out, and most people were heading for the dorms, or something such as that. They still had a few hours until Jacob had to report to prefect duty, since he was one of the Slytherin prefects. He wasn't looking forward to that, but it was still awhile until curfew, so he was ready to find someone to hang out with, hopefully not his cousin or something.
Jacob was on the fifth floor stairs, leaning against the wall as people passed by. Some he knew, some he didn't. And those who knew him, most likely knew of his parents, and his Real father, Tom Riddle. Now he would probably still be born, as long as his father survived and had a child with Bellatrix or another person, but he didn't care, because if he was here, then he was born, and would still be here, whether he'd exsist in the future or not. If they all went back he didn't care if he didn't exsist if the world was turned out to be right and all of that.

Summer ran away laughing, her hair was purple and her eyes were blue. She was wearing a sparkly tank top and some shorts, with nothing but white and purple long socks on her feet. She had just cast the jely legs jinx on and unsuspecting Hufflepuff girl from this time. She was pretty much shreiking with laughter. She hadnt had so much fun, since the las quidditch game, which was in her own time.
She glanced behind her for a couple seconds and the next thing she knew, she had collided with someone else. She glanced up and recognized Jacob instantly. She felt her face flush but then glanced behind her and noticed the Hufflepuff girl getting up. "Hide me!" She said quickly and moves so she was standing behind him. "shhh! She said to make sure he'd be quiet. She had to press her lips together to hold back more giggles.

It was quite odd what happened to him just now. Summer Wood had just knocked into him, then telling him to be quiet. Jacob was obedient, but would question her later. She seemed to be getting in trouble a lot more lately, but that could've just been him. Jacob saw a Hufflepuff girl approach him. "Where is she?" The Hufflepuff asked, her legs seeming to still be jelly. "She who?" Jacob answered. "That Gryffindor, where is she?" "I don't know." "Well if you see her, send her to the nearest teacher. I need to get to the nurses office." "Ok, I will," Jacob replied. Once the Hufflepuff was out of sight he turned to where Summer was. "What was that all about?" Jacob asked curiously, though he had a feeling that it had something to do with the jelly legs the girl seemed to have.

Summer listened carefully as the Hufflepuff girl talked to Jacob and had even more trouble holding back her giggles. She let her hair and eyes turn back to normal and gave Jacob an innocent face when her turned to look at her. "I dont know what you're talking about" She said trying to act clueless. Then she tried to give him a charming grin, and felt her cheeks turn pink. "Please dont tell, I was just having a little fun. I didnt mean to hurt her to bad" She said. She avoided meeting his gaze cause she figured she would start staring and make her liking him completely obvious, if it wasnt already.
She looked up and down the hallway and didnt see any other kids who had witnessed her using the hex on the girl and let out sigh. She had been acting a little more wild then usual. It was mostly because she was nervous about being a different time and that made her energy level sky rocket ten times higher then it normally was.

Jacob shook his head, but decided he wouldn't tell, regardless of what he told that Hufflepuff. Jacob wasn't friends with the Hufflepuff and considered Summer a friend, so he wouldn't rat her out. Even if he was a prefect and it was his job. One time wouldn't hurt right?
"Fine," Jacob replied with a smile, "Just this once alright?" Jacob laughed a little. He could have a good time, and well he had to admit that it was quite funny what she did.
Stress had been piling on him, and probably everyone else from their time. He was ok with secrets, but this one this big concerning so many people was hard to keep under wraps.

"Thank you so much!" She gave him a quick hug and then stepped back. Next time she would have to make sure not to run into any prefects, even if it was Jacob. He would have to tell someone if it happened again. Summer was lucky she had run into him and not some really strict prefect.
Summer smiled at him and then glanced away again. "So is it true that you're an animagus?" She wanted to think of a reason to keep talking to him so she figured she could just ask some questions. Pus, she had heard rumors that he was an animagus but had never asked him. It hadnt really occured to her til now, anyways.

Jacob smiled thinking about it. His father had taught him when he as little, but he never quite had the complete hang of it until last year. Of course he would practice before, since it was cool if he was able to do it completely. His father was one too, and well he wasn't as afraid of him as he was his mother, so they spent more time together, though he still didn't like the same things as him... Rodolphus as in his father, not his real one, who he didn't ever see.
"Yup! I learned it from my father. I am a Golden Labrador when I transform, wanna see?" Jacob replied happily. It was nice to talk to someone and not worry about walking on eggshells around them, and watching what he had said. Jacob just hoped they could go back to their time and live peacefully now that Voldemort was dead.

A Golden lab? She couldnt help but smile since she had a yellow lab as a pet. "Id love to see. That would be really cool." She said happily. It would be really cool to see. [olor=red]"Do you think like a dog when you change?"[/color] She asked curiously. She didnt know all that much about animagus's, only what she had read when studying stuff about famous metamorphagus's.
Summer began swaying from foot to foot and playing with her hands. She had calmed down for a little bit but now her energy level was starting to rise again. "Im not being rude when i say this, but can we walk and talk? I just have a lot of energy" She gave him her best apologetic look.

"Ok I'll do this real quick," Jacob said quickly clapping his hands to get ready. A couple of seconds later well he was the labrador he had usually tranformed into. It was really cool being a dog, but Jacob quickly tranformed back into a human. He had heard that Sirius Black escaped Azkaban that way, by being an animagus and sneaking by the dementors.
"Nope," Jacob laughed responding to if he thought like a dog, "I look like a dog, I have hightened sense of a dog, like smelling, but I think like a normal person. Too bad dogs don't have vocal cords like humans, so I can't talk, I can bark though." He loved being an animagus, and well it was fun to prance around the school like a dog. He was careful because he wasn't registered as an animagus until 2018, so he couldn't be too open about the animagus part of him.
"Sure, I don't mind," Jacob replied smiling answering her question.

Summer watched wide eyed as he changed. It was awesome to see. She had never seen anyone do it before and she guessed that it had to be pretty cool to be able to do it.
"Thats really cool. I can turn my nose into a dog nose but it doesnt change my sense of smell" She smiled. She had tried it before, not that she had lasted to long without laughing at how riduculous she looked with a dog nose instead of her normal nose. "How did you learn to do that?" She asked curiously. She didnt want to be an animagus but it was pretty cool to see.
Summer held onto his arm lightly as they walked. It was force of habit. She always held onto the person she was walking with so that if a crowd walked by they wouldnt be seperated. "Oh! Do you still want the camera i told you about?" She asked. She had her own camera in her pocket and the one she was talking about was hidden nearby. She hadnt wanted to seem weird with so much technology from the future in her dorm.

Jacob smiled at her reaction. Most people were amazed he was able to do something like that. It was probably the only thing he really gave credit to his father for. He really disliked his family, especially his real father and his mother.
"Oh yeah, that's right, you're a Metamorphagus right?" Jacob replied remembering that she could change her appearance at will, "My father, Rodolphus, taught me how. It was one of the few good memories I have with the man." Some day he would get back at them, maybe not his mother, he might leave her to Neville, or Harry, or someone who had a quarrell with her. Jake was scared of her, so he didn't want to fight her.
"Oh yeah that'd be great!" Jacob replied happily thinking that he could snap some pictures of some memories. The first one he would take he alraedy knew what it would be of.

"Yeah" She said with a smile. She wasnt a very good metamorphagus but she enjoyed being able to change her appearance. She was really good at changing into some things but couldnt change into certain things. "Is your family really that bad? I know they're death eaters and all but their still your family" She didnt mean to pry but whenever he talked about his parents he seemed unhappy and it confused her. She had a good relationship with her family and maybe that why it confused her so much.
She smiled at him and went to a nearby statue, muttering a small spell under her breath. A small area opened and she grabbed the camera. Her mother had taught her about a couple enchanted statues before she went to hogwarts. She turned it on and deleted the pictures. they were of her and her friends at a recent slumber party and she didnt really want anyone to see them. She waited for them to delete and then held it out to Jacob. "Here. Its not very fancy or anything but it still takes really good pictures."

Jacob sighed. His father wasn't that bad. His adoptive father that is. But everyone else was terrible, though they were nice enough to him. He didn't feel they actually loved him, especially his mother who was obssessed with pleasing Voldemort. Apparently the only reason he was born was because Voldemort wanted a blood heir to his power, since he wasn't immortal anymore. Jacob didn't like that. Jacob looked at her with a slight smile, which didn't really convey happiness in the smile, but something else, trouble in his mind or something like that. "Yeah, they are that bad. Mother deserves to be in an insane asylum, and Father, well he's the best of all of them. Bella's like mother too much... And well Phineas and the other cousins, they're too harsh." He didn't even want to mention his real father. Just thinking that he was related made him sick to his stomach, so he usually just pretended that he wasn't related, and hopefully it would just go away, but it still hadn't. Phineas was at awe with him and his almighty genes, and Tuesday was scared of him. It was all so silly of them to Jacob.
Jacob smiled snatching the camera and looking at it. "Fantastic!" Jacob replied and looked over at Summer, aiming it at her face and snapping a picture. "Ha Ha! Now I can start a scrapbook of my friends!"
