At last the sun appeared to be making more of a full time appearance in the sky. This meant that the temperature was rising, and there were some days that you did not need to wear a sweater. Today was one of them. Rose had sprawled herself out on the grass near the lake, her jeans were pulled up to her knees, and her tee-shirt sweater laying on the ground beneath her, soaking up as much vitamin D as she possibly could.
Rose flipped herself over onto her stomach and picked up the book that she had discarded to the side. There was almost nothing in this world that she loved more than reading in the sun. Of course, people came before her love for reading, but other than that there wasn't too much that could beat out reading. It was her favorite past time, as many from this generation had learned by now as well.
Rose smiled once more as she thought of her mother. It was nice to see her parents alive and well, even if she had to somewhat keep her distance from them. She did get a perfect combination of both parents in her genetics, and there was only so much she could explain about that when her last name was Weasley. She sighed to herself, looking around briefly before opening the book to the bookmarked page and began reading.

It was once again another time for , well as awkward as it may seem, but a tan for the young Astor Winterwine. Being as pale as he was he knew a tan was only necessary unless he wanted to be mistaken for a vampire. Which he was not biased or anything about he just didn't want to be named a vampire which he was not. He was far from that. It was also the peak time to which Astor would work even harder on his abdominal muscle as such. He knew the perfect spot for a tan would be the black lake which at most of the times was empty as not many people enjoyed the sun as he did. So thus doing so he had made his way to the black lake and stopped at a large tree just next to the lake.
"Here is a perfect spot." He said as he took of his shirt to reveal his toned body and took of his jeans to be more comfy in his board shorts. He took a breath and placed his wand into the ankle lock he got from his uncle. Astor always kept this ankle lock for his wand every time he would go swimming in dark water as he knew the black lake out of anything was home to a variety of creatures. After taking his breath he then bolted it into the lake smiling as he did screaming and cheering doing front flips and flips of all kinds and finally jumping into the water. "Ahh!"He said as he floated just above the water taking in the sun light as he closed his eyes and relaxed.

The red head hadn't been reading for very long before she heard some mumbling from close by. Granted, it probably wasn't someone exactly mumbling, but well, when you weren't paying attention to your surroundings, well, someone talking didn't come in very clear. Rose bookmarked her page to be easily found once again, even though she could probably find this part of the book with the lights out in her dorm room in the middle of winter. She grinned a little bit down at her book then began to look aorund her immidiate surroundings, trying to figure out who was near.
However, as soon as she looked up to find out who was around, she heard a splash in the water. Rose looked temporarily shocked that someone would be swimming at this time of year, but then she realized how warm it was and began to understand the thought behind that. She turned her head toward the water to see who had jumped into the water, and if she knew that person or not. When the person did surface once more though, Rose couldn't get a better look other than she thought she had seen this boy in the common room before. She tilted her head a little bit and called out "Nice day for a swim huh?"
