Wandering the halls of Hogwarts, Temperance looked around, it was fairly late in the afternoon, and most students seemed to be back in their Common rooms. Readjusting the leather strap of her bag, holding her school books and her camera, she continued down the corridor. She was heading back towards her own common room, from the library. She had been trying last minute to add on to her Transfiguration assignment that was due this upcoming week. Even though it felt like she worked on it for hours, she was nervous about handing it in. She never was talented in that class, always struggling.
She didn't make a sound as she made her way through the corridor. Her brown leather moccasins, silently meeting the ground. Since it was Sunday, instead of her school robes, she wore a pair of dark denim jeans, her favorites. They were well worn, faded in the knees, with a few rough patches from being continually washed. She wore a long sleeved purple shirt, with a v-neck and no design. Her blond curly hair was up in a messy bun and she wore no make-up.
Continuing her walk, she turned a corner and almost walked straight into another student...

Rose had been wandering around the corridors of the schools for hours. Her homework was long done, as per usual, she hadn't found Raj that day to hang around with, she hadn't found Scorp to torment, she was just on her own. It was a slightly boring afternoon, but such was life sometimes. Rose, oddly enough, didn't even have a book in her hand. That was the strangest bit of the day, no book. Never was Rose seen without a book. However, Rose hadn't exactly thought to grab her book that day. First, Rose had gone flying, then she sat by the lake, then of course was supper, now she was wandering.
Rose pulled up the top of her dress a little bit as it had fallen down slightly to a level that she wasn't fully comfortable with. Why was she in a dress you ask? Simply because she felt like it. The sun had been shining alot lately, which meant warmer weather, which meant Rose liked to wear more skirts and dresses. There was no real reason, she just did. She smiled alittle bit to herself as she thought about how the sun had felt on her back that afternoon. She was so lost in her thoughts that she just managed to dodge colliding into someone as they turned the corner, a corner that Rose was walking autopilot towards. "Whoa! I'm sorry!" She said

As they almost had a full on collision in the halls, Temperance had barely managed to swerve in the hall to avoid the girl. It was close and in the process, Temperance had dropped her bag that was sitting on her shoulder. She didn't hear a crack, which as reassuring, it meant her camera had landed on her books instead of vice versa. As the girl said she was sorry, Temperance waved her hand, dismissing the apology. "No worries, just as much my fault! Should have been paying more attention." she said to her with a smile leaning down and picking up her bag.
Opening it she ensured her camera was okay, before slipping it back over her shoulder and a smile. She hadn't seen this girl before and automatically assumed she as a transfer. And with the red hair she was sure she had heard of her and her brains. "I am Temperance." she said with a smile extending her hand to the girl while brushing a loose piece of hair behind her ear with the other hand.

Rose, still a little bit shocked from the near collision, shook her head slightly to clear it. The fogginess of her day dreams began to wear off, and the real world once again began to set in. She smiled at the blonde haired girl infront of her. "At least we only have ourselves to blame then, since nothing was done on purpose." She thought of the people who would purposely bump into someone to hurt them and rolled her eyes at the thought.
She watched as the girl picked up her backpack and inspect the contents, assumedly making sure nothing was broken. Rose at that point became thankful she hadn't been holding onto anything, otherwise she would have been doing the same at that point. Then the girl introduced herself, and extended her hand in a tradtional greeting. Rose grinned, and taking the girl's hand to shake she replied "I'm Rose." Rose wondered what this girl knew of her, but didn't really care. She was meeting other people from this time, which was a good thing.
