Alice Lynnette Peterson
17. Gryffindor. Single. Muggle-born.
Alice (or Ali as she sometimes prefers being called) is pretty much your good old-fashioned all-American girl. She hails from Beaumont, Texas. Her brother plays football, her mother teaches first grade, and her father is in the American Army. She's pleasant, bubbly and generally easy to get along with.
Her and Eliza also completely hate each other.
Alice has been calling Eliza a commie since their first year when Eliza said that she was from East Germany, and Eliza has been striving to outdo her ever since. They argue constantly, but deep down, they really do respect each other.
This is one of Eliza's most important relationships. I'd prefer Alice be played by Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler or Kimberly Perry but any blondie'll work.
Vash Aran Beilschmidt
17. Slytherin Transfer Student. Pureblood.
Vash is Eliza's twin brother and a former student at Durmstrang. Wanting to finish out school with his sister, he transferred to Hogwarts early on in the year. He is calm, quiet, reserved and occasionally vindictive. House loyalties aside, he cares deeply for his sister and is incredibly over-protective of her and vice-versa. He sympathizes with the Death Eaters but sides with Dumbledore's Army to avoid having to ever fight his sister or one of his brothers.
Vash is not liable to make friends easily, but he's a true and loyal friend once he does. He can be manipulative, though, so look out. He has a very complicated, secretive on-again off-again relationship with his sister's friend Esperanza.
Vash should be preferrably played by Gaspard Ulliel, but a similar-looking playby would work.
Esperanza Marie Carriedo
17. Ravenclaw. Half-blood.
Esperanza Carriedo (or Anni as some call her) is Hogwarts' resident Spanish firecracker. She's the illegitimate daughter of a famed Spanish Auror and his muggle mistress and entered Hogwarts amid a cloud of speculation. She became quick and fast friends with Eliza during the train ride and being Sorted into different Houses did nothing to cool this.
Esperanza is essentially a rebel without a cause. She's hot-tempered, stubborn to a fault and will often rebel against conventions just because she can. She's also incredibly smart and has a dry sense of humor. Though she is blunt and often seems to speak without thinking, she's actually incredibly perceptive and a loyal friend.
She has a complicated relationship with Vash that seems to fade as quickly as it begins most of the time, but the two do genuinely care for each other. Preferably, Esperanza should be played by Francia Raisa, but a similar-looking lady would work just as well.
