Emilia whistled to herself as she walked through the streets of London, tossing a galleon up and down as she did so. She'd made good money on that portrait she'd stolen the week before; it had been a good mark. She'd done very well with her thievery in the future, but not anywhere as much as she did in the past.
Ian had probably stolen most everything that was worth stealing in the future; she had to admit, at least to herself, that she'd dealt more in information than in actual items. It was easy to do when everyone was willing to pay almost any amount for good intel.
She heard someone calling her name and turned to find someone running towards her, rolling her eyes when she realized that it was someone that had been on her case about stealing since she'd first met them in her younger days. It had been in Greece, she was fairly certain. She'd been trying to steal from a museum at the time, she thought. Apparently, that was frowned upon.

Analiese was glad to be skipping that day. She'd found a way out and no one seemed to notice plus it gave her a chance to wrap her head around everything. She'd had a dream about Albus Dumbledore. He'd said that if she wished to stay she would be given that option. But, why? Why would he tell her that now? What was so important about it? She shook the thought from her head. She couldn't let that cloud her thoughts. Not if any legillimens were around.
Analiese looked around, scanning the area for any signs of suspicious activity when she spotted... No. Not this girl. Emillia Auditore. The master theif she'd caught in the act only two years into her training. She had told the girl to return what she'd stolen in Greece. She refused to have her countries culture taken by some theif trying to make a living. They got along alright but it was easier to think of themselves as unproclaimed aquaintences.
"Emillia!" she called, "Emillia! Stop right there." she started running toward the girl with a look of 'what did you steal this time'.

Emilia couldn't help but laugh as she held up the little trinket, a necklace stolen from some rich pureblood supremacist that would never miss it. She was sure that she could fetch a very nice price for it in Knockturn Alley, or maybe she'd go back to the marketplaces of Athens for this one. The Greeks usually paid better for things like the necklace; the British were more interested in information.
Analiese was very lucky that she was one of only a few people that Emilia actually liked, because the girl had been a thorn in her side for a very long time. Other thorns in her side had long-since been eliminated, like that British master thief that had been running loose in this time, Ian's mentor Jonah Church.
"Well, hello to you, too, Analiese!" she replied pleasantly. "Lovely day, isn't it?"

Analiese shook her head, what was she going to do with this girl? Emillia had been lucky to not be arrested for this. But gosh was the necklace beautiful. She wondered how much she was going to have to pay for that.. No, no, she couldn't think like that. She would not be an acomplis to theivery.
"Hmm, you aren't doing your self well by stealing artifacts. They belong to museumes, people, ancient civilizations. I'd know, I'm from one of the oldest." she rolled her eyes, "Don't play dumb with me."

Emilia laughed and shook her head. Analiese was funny, and one of the few people that had ever cared enough about Emilia to worry about her. It was touching, really; Emilia probably would have appreciated it more if Analiese had not made it her mission in life to get her older friend on the "straight and narrow."
"Oh, I do very well by stealing artifacts," she retorted. "People pay a lot for them. Anyway, this isn't an artifact; I nicked it from some old bastard. He won't miss it."

Analiese crossed her arms and raised her eye brows. She couldn't fathom it, not an artifact? The necklace looked ancient to her. Although she was sure she'd seen it in one of the musems before. Could it have been... no that one had been sunk in the Thames River... But it was possible someone had the guts to go down and get it. Or they found it on shore. She shrugged off the thought.
"How much are you thinking for that?" Analiese asked. She had to know, maybe it was in her price range. "If he won't miss it, then why didn't he just sell it, hmm?"

It looked like a pretty old necklace; it was certainly an older piece. Probably an heirloom. She didn't care. It had been easily taken. Clearly he hadn't cared for it very much, or he would have kept a closer eye on it. It was so easy to decide what was and wasn't valued, at least in her opinion.
"Ah, I don't know. How much would you be willing to pay for it?" she asked teasingly with a little smile. "And yes, I'm positive that it won't be missed."

"Twenty drachma. That's my highest offer." Analiese crossed her arms and kept her chin high. She never carried more than thirty around with her. Didn't want to be accused of having too much money. Dumbledore had given opened a Gringotts account for her but she only used it to store Greek coins and she had all of her galleons converted into the small coins. Two drachma for every galleon.
It looked like something she could wear. She would have it, a beautiful piece like that belonged in a case. Hopefully that case would only be opened durring dances and anything formal.

"Hm...twenty-one and we have a deal," she bargained.
There had been a time when she could've swindled Analiese into paying much, much more. She was a little proud of the fact that she'd made her friend into such a tough negotiator. It didn't pay to be trusting, as Analiese had learned.
