It's not necessarily a complaining thing as he hates it when people who have lead what he views as blessed lives whining about their current lot. He would never, for example, tell Harry off, but he'd probably get snippy if Hermione complained. He has, at various points in his life, had to watch his older brother die, commit troops to battles knowing that many would die, destroy large sections of historic Italian cities and kill people in cold blood that were just obeying orders like he was. He doesn't have much sympathy for the British because he thinks that they could have avoided the situation they're in right now if they hadn't been blind to what was going on.

Haha, she'll feel bad for him sitting there with her for so long and tell him that he didn't have to.

Yeah, I don't really see Hermione complaining, unless it's really dangerous, and well, you know, this year when she's on the run, or complaining about Harry and Ron not doing their homework I think that it is a very interesting thing to have a whole pool of young adults (or little kids according to Harry Senior) as soldiers and just how differently they all turn out to be, and yet still teens. Jared is the epitome of this

Ah, he would probably say that it was something that he wanted to do, and therefore he did. Fate had that carved in stone already.

I had to think of an example. XD And I think that, in terms of the child soldiers group, it's the della'Rosa siblings that represent the two extrememes. Pyre managed to be cheerful and upbeat despite it all, whereas Jared was hardened and embittered by it. He's really just tired of war at this time and wants to rest.

I think that Satsu is the only person that can deal with him talking about Fate as much as he does. XD

lol True. Those two are quite different, and I really like how differently they are. You know if George and Pyre get married, and Jared and Jaq get married, technically Fred and Anelisa are related just through those two marriages

Probably... But you know, he came up with it on his own to cope with the fact that he had no parents that he could ever remember, and how it was right for him to be separated from his twin and his other siblings.

Yeah, well, technicalities. XP They're not blood related, so it doesn't really matter. They all might as well be family, already; Pyre is entirely too accepting of people. I think it'll be interesting seeing Molly interacting with Jared.

Yeah, I figured as much, and she doesn't really mind. Like I said, Satsu is an inherently kind person. And she really likes Toru.

Oh that would be hilarious... Molly would try to baby Jared, and take care of him, given her extreme maternal instincts, and since Jared would be her son-in-law with such an injury, just yeah...

And Toru does really like her too. I do think that Satsu is the only one here who could deal with Toru and his weird coping mechanism. I wonder what she would say when she finds out that he lives on the streets, and doesn't mind living on the streets.

Molly is of the opinion that Marisol should have never had any children. XD She probably feels bad for Jared; he doesn't have the most nurturing mother that's ever lived.

She'll probably be concerned for him and offer him a place to stay, even though she lives in a one-bedroom rented room in Diagon Alley. She's the type that would sleep on the floor so that somebody else could take the bed.

Yeah, I could see that... And Molly would probably try to compensate by trying to be that nuturing mother.

And he'd refuse, as he wants to live in the streets, as he hates buildings, and will only go in one if there is no other choice.

And she'll make Jared feel awkward, so he'll try to avoid getting stuck alone with Molly. He really loves Marisol, even if she's pretty much the Anti-Cuddly.

That would worry Satsu. XD
