Teddy was extremely nervous. Dumbledore's death day was today, and Teddy spent the whole day at the castle guarding and the similar. It was only a matter of time until the Death Eaters entered the castle through the Vanishing Cabinet. Teddy's mind was racing, wondering whether he should stop it or not. Dumbledore was going to die soon anyways because of that cursed hand, and Snape needed to kill Dumbledore to get the trust from the Death Eaters to maintain his perfect roll as double agent, or would it be triple agent? It didn't matter anyways. Teddy was extremely nervous the whole day, and his hair showed it, as his hair was a bright neon green, which would not do well when the battle actually began.
Teddy was patrolling the corridors, being assigned one awfully close to the Room of Requirement, and therefore he would be hit first by the Death Eaters. Only people from his time who learned in detail about this battle would know as much as Teddy did, as Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny taught them, especially since Teddy always asked questions the first time they told the story. Teddy knew Draco was already in the room by this time, and that nearby under the invisibility cloak was some of the DA, including Hermione and Ron, unless he remembered wrong.
He didn't want to alert them, so he tried his hand at nonverbal, and some wandless magic, but he was terrible at wandless, so nonverbal he did the most of. He just didn't want to get hurt or some of the others around to get hurt. Changing the future was going to happen regardless if Teddy did it or not, so things like putting up the spells shouldn't affect Dumbledore's death too much. The Death Eaters would still get passed, it would just slow them down a bit, and Draco would be the first through, and Teddy would be sure to make sure Draco went up to greet Dumbledore when it happened. Teddy had made up his mind apparently.

Sophie had to be brought in as a dog again so she could get in. She was in human form at that moment and didn't really know what she was doing, her brother was on patrol for the ministry and Order, and she was on patrol for the Order only. She knew what was going to happen but she was still scared. This could change everything they knew about their family. Sadly she knew it wouldn't, her father still rejected her mother and she couldn't do anything about it because she didn't want to change things for herself.
"Ted, how much longer do we have to wait for anything to happen? Mum's already here but where's dad? Shouldn't he be here soon too? I mean he was one of the ones that found Ron and Hermione right?" Sophie asked looking around again, "How are we suposed to help them if they're not here?"

Teddy wasn't worried... yet. If his father didn't come that would mean their parents might not ever get together, but Teddy was confident they both would be here. He was restless, but he had been preparing himself all day, and it was just a matter of time until the Death Eaters entered the castle. All they had to do is wait.
Of course he knew their father was assigned with them, and would arrive soon, as Teddy was just assigned to patrol with his father, just like Sophie. It wasn't like he asked for it, but Dumbledore assigned them together for some reason, especially since Teddy insisted on being there, though all the Order transfers were given the option to stay out of it. Maybe instead of saving Dumbledore they could save Bill. But then again the thing with Bill sort of pushed his parents together, so probably not.
"I-I think it's still a couple of hours or so before stuff happens," Teddy said trying to stretch his mind back to about what time Uncle Harry said it would take, "I think Dad's going to be here in a few minutes, within the hour of course. Don't worry Sophie, stay calm. Muffiliato, don't want to be overheard." Teddy did this with his wand at his side as to not arouse anybody's suspicions. It would raise unwanted questions if they heard then talking about Remus being their father, or anything else of what they were saying.

"Right, calm, calm.." Sophie said to herself, "Teddy I can't calm down, this is right near the time when dad actually said he wasn't going to reject mum anymore! I'm nervous, anxious, and I'm just over all scared. What if we die?"
Sophie just couldn't take the feeling, she was usually cool and collected but now she was a nervous reck, it was even in her hair-do that day. Her hair was up in a sloppy bun with chopsticks in it to help keep it together. She held her wand up to get light and muttered, "Lumos." her want sprung to life and she could see better than she could normally. "Teddy, you're sure this is the right place right? We're supposed to find the troll tapestry right? The one where they're beating a guy up while he's trying to teach them ballet?"

"It's going to be ok," Teddy insisted, though not as confident as he tried to sound, because he wasn't sure that they would make it, though he really wanted both of them to survive, and if one of them had to die, he would be happy to go down fighting, "Nothing will change with Dad and Mum's history, and if Dad needs more convincing, well the two of us are here to convince him otherwise." Teddy was happy that he would be fighting in one of the battles he only dreamed of. He wanted to fight like their parents did and now he had a chance to fight with them.
"Yeah it's not far up the corridor," Teddy said holding his wand and lighting it just like Sophie did walking a short ways up the corridor spotting the correct tapestry they were looking for, "See, there it is."

"Don't talk like that, you're not allowed to die. Dying would atleast give me a new life..." Sophie muttered the last part of what she said, "Right, because he'll listen to two kids that just so happen to be his son and his adopted daughter... Speaking of, are we going to tell them that we are?"
She sighed in relief as the reached the tapestry, now all they had to do was wait. She thought of a tune that she'd heard several times from an old american movie, 'We're watching, and wait-ing for Santa to appear.' was the words to the tune but they weren't waiting for Santa, they were waiting on Remus Lupin, who was being abnormally slow, "Um, Teddy, do you think the other Aurors got him?"

"I'd rather go down fighting today then die of old age, though Vicky would hate to hear that," Teddy replied strongly, much more confidently now, knowing that he indeed would rather go down fighting then a helpless old man, "Well once word gets out where we're really from I suppose they could guess. I've heard Dad say something about me reminding him of Mum. It's just a matter of time until they find out anyways."
Aurors? Getting Dad? That was a very scary thought, but Teddy reassured himself that it wouldn't have happened since it didn't happen before... right? Teddy sure hoped that some of the people from his time hadn't changed it so that happened, especially given the ministry's feelings towards werewolves. "No, it didn't happen before and nothing happened to change that, he'll be here soon..." And just as he said this a figure appeared nearby, darkened in the darkness not yet in their lit wands' light.

Remus had to be very careful, since the place was crawling with Aurors. While Remus wasn't being hunted like others of his kind since he was registered, the Ministry probably saw him as a threat in the castle. If only he had his and his old friends' map, because then it wouldn't be too hard to avoid all the Aurors. Remus hid behind suits of armor, behind doors, in secret passage ways, until he reached his destination spotting the two lit wands nearby he walked up to them.
"Where was I when we first met?" Remus asked pointing his wand at the two directing the question at Sophie, as he tried to think of a question to ask Teddy, though he wasn't sure if anyone could impersonate a Metamorphagus. He had to make sure they weren't imposters.

Sophie held her wand out in front of her defensively, she was very jumpy at the moment and even though her wand was alight, she wasn't sure it was her father at first. Then he asked her where they had first met, a question she knew the answer to. But just to be sure she was answering to the right person, she had to make sure it was Remus Lupin. But of course, she could smell all of the sents of the people around her. 'Yup, know that sent perfectly!'
"The Leaky Cauldron," Sophie answered, "and I can smell you're you so I don't have a qquestion.." she shrugged.

Remus smiled lowering his wand from Sophie, knowing it must be Teddy since he finally remembered Polyjuice Potion didn't allow one to transform into a Metamorphagus. Remus was in a sour mood right now. It was partly because of the extreme reinforcement Dumbledore wanted on the castle tonight, meaning Dumbledore might know something might happen, and the fact the Aurors didn't want him there, well except those in the Order.
"Correct," Remus sighed looking from one sibling to the next, "Had to check. Anyways, Teddy, if an Auror comes by not in the Order, just pretend you're apprehending me or something. I don't want them to be suspicious, since the parents of the students would hate to find out an auror did no apprehend a werewolf wandering among the halls."

Sophie lowered her wand, and smiled going to hug her father, "I was getting worried! Teddy was staying calm.. although I don't know how.. and I thought the aurors had gotten you. I got through because I'm that good! Actually I was posing as a ministry dog." She looked around though, Tonks had to show up soon, if she didn't who else was going to find them? Sophie whimpered out of habit, then shook her head correcting herself.
((Sorry about that, I was drawing a blurb on my mind.. I had nothin'..))

"Worried about me? You don't need to worry, can usually take care of myself," Remus stated before walking around and looking at the corridor, "Have you found anyone in the halls? Or anything?" This was going to be a long night, Remus could feel it. Whether it was because the night ahead he saw was going to be quite boring, unless this group found something to talk about. It was times like this he wished Sirius was still alive. He did like Sophie and Teddy, but it wasn't the same as having a friend that always thought of a way to have fun and just be there.
He didn't really feel support from Sophie on the situation with Tonks, though he still respected and trusted her. Sirius wouldn't like it, but he wouldn't persist. He'd probably say something like 'Blimey Moony, what are you trying to do? Don't you want happiness?' and then if Remus wouldn't want to talk about it, Sirius was fine with that. Even still, Sirius wasn't here, and he had been gone for almost a year, and he should just get over it.

"We can't help but be worried Remus," Teddy said with a small chuckle, "Not yet, but I've been having this weird feeling that we're being watched." Mostly because he knew there was at least two people nearby. Teddy probably was just being paranoid because he knew somepoint within the hour or so the Death Eaters would enter the castle, and a fight would occur.
"And I won't pretend to arrest you Remus, no matter what. I'll come up with some excuse or the similar," Teddy said with a huge smile, knowing he wouldn't do something like that, even if it cost him his job. Heck, what did they expect? Remus was family. And Teddy always felt awkward calling Remus Remus, and not Dad.

Sophie felt the same feeling of eyes on her that her brother did. The chill was like a spider crawling down someones spine. She shifted and looked around again, trying to catch any scent that wasn't someone she knew. Others had to come, Tonks had to come too, if she didn't how was she supposed to help Tonks and Remus get together? "Worrying was really all we could do.. I mean, we'd been waiting for a short while and I worry very easily. Dogs are a mans best friend.."
"I'll have to be a dog again by then, they don't know I'm here, hardly know I exist!" Sophie smiled, near clapping. Her family was full of oddballs and she was proud of it. As far as she could remember they started with muggles and purebloods on both sides then a werewolf father, metamorphagus mother, and a metamorphagus son along with a animagus adopted daughter. Yup... odd bunch...

"Well I'm sorry I was a little late, I tried to get here as soon as possible," Remus replied shifting ever so slightly looking down the corridor knowing that a certain someone was supposed to be a part of their group, and hopefully their personal life wouldn't mix with their professional, or in his case Orderly life.
"Having little knowledge of one's existance is a handy tool if used well," Remus remarked seriously, but with a slight smile on his face. Before his post at Hogwarts very few people knew of him, and he did't have to deal with too much prejudice towards him. But when he took up the post at Hogwarts the whole British magical community knew about him, and when Snape revealed what he was, well that was when he would walk down the street and get dirty looks or threats. But it was all worth it. He was able to get his old friend back, and contact with one of his friend's son. He definitely used his cover to the effect he was happy with.
