Fred actually seriously thought about it this time. He wanted to come up with a good name for their child if it was a girl. When he thought of it, he wanted the name to be French, as that was where Analisa came from.
"Well, Elvendork is unisex," Fred said with a huge smile, before seriously saying, "How about Lisette?"
He personally had yet to visit the candy shop, though he wanted to, he was just too busy right now to do so. But, the name Lisette was quite pretty and French, and when he thought of girl names for their child, it was the one that stuck out in his mind.

Lisette...? It was a very French name, and she briefly wondered just where the hell Fred had ever heard it before. She then remembered the redhead that ran the Lollipop Cafe down the street was named Lisette and assumed that it was where he'd heard the name.
"Lisette...it's a form of Elizabeth," she thought out loud before smiling and nodding. "I like it."
So the name would be Mathias for a boy or Lisette for a girl...they were both good names, and Lisa honestly didn't care what gender the baby was. What did it matter? She would love the kid regardless.

Fred did a little fist pump before he shot her a huge smile. He quickly gave her a hug. He couldn't hide his excitement at all of this. He was going to be a father! He was going to have a son and/or daughter! Oh now he knew how his father had felt when he had his own children. All of the good times they would have together, it was just so great!
"If you decide that you don't like either name as time goes on, Elvendork is still on the table," Fred joked.
Of course if either of the two names they had picked out fell out of favor for some reason, he would not want to actually name their kid Elvendork, that'd be just ridiculous.

She laughed and returned the hug before rolling her eyes when he, again, suggested Elvendork as a name. It sounded like a name that one would give to their dog, not a child! Maybe she'd find a dog for him and name it Elvendork as a joke...
"Fred, even if we decide that we don't like Mathias or Lisette, Elvendork will never be on the table," she laughed.

Fred did a very over-exaggerated sigh and a snap across the body. But he wanted Elvendork! Well, maybe he could name his owl that. Where in the world did he get that name from anyways...? Oh yeah! Now he remembered.
"Plus I think it's already taken," Fred said with another huge sigh, "Abeforth's old goat was named Elvendork." Well, he no longer had that goat, because she died the year that he and George left school.

He'd...suggested the name of a goat. Yeah...that sounded like Fred. Silly, silly kid...now there was definitely no way in hell she'd even consider Elvendork seriously (not that she would have before). He could name whatever pet he got Elvendork.
"Erm...let's restrict the name Elvendork to the animal kingdom, alright?" she suggested.
She was fairly certain that she actually remembered that goat, now that she was thinking about it. How had she forgotten...?

Oh yes, but he didn't realize it was a goat's name when he first suggested it! Though now that he knew, well, it made it a whole heck of a lot funnier than it was before! Thank the lord that Anelisa didn't like the name, or he would put his foot down and say it was just a joke!
"Darn. Fine. I guess," Fred said pretending to be upset about it.
That goat was a right foul git to him and George anyways. It would try to bite their pants off and eat them everytime they went in! Well, at least it would when they were underage, so when they were over 17, well it didn't seem to do it anymore. It was almost as if that goat was telepathic and could tell if someone was under or overage.

Hadn't Fred and George disliked that goat? She was fairly certain she remembered a fourteen-year-old Fred complaining about it in a letter, and George voicing similar complaints in another. He'd probably forgotten just how much he hadn't liked Elvendork the Goat, she decided. Otherwise, he would have never suggested the name, even jokingly...she hoped. He probably would have, though; Fred rarely ever passed up the chance to make a joke about anything.
"I'm sorry, but I think the kid would hate us for giving it that name," she teased, laughing softly before getting a little more serious. "Do you want to tell your mother or should I?"

Fred actually was excited to tell his mother, even though he was dreading the talking to he get. He was certain that after the initial shock and disappointment, his mother would become just as excited as he was right now. Fred was sure of it. If not, then, he obviously didn't know his mother, and wouldn't let her ruin his excitement, though he'd be hurt.
"We should tell her together," Fred replied confidently.

Oh, thank God. Lisa liked Molly; she was a very nice lady, and she'd been more of a mother-figure than Lisa's actual mother (whose contributions to her daughters' lives were pretty uniformly negative). Molly was just kind of intimidating sometimes, and Lisa knew that if she'd had to tell her the news herself, she would have wound up apologizing. She apologized a lot. It wasn't intentional, but it happened.
"That sounds like a good idea," she agreed. "She won't take it too badly, I hope...she doesn't seem like she would..."

Fred was used to the lectures from his mother. He got them very often as kids. 'How dare you steal that car?!?' and 'What are you doing? Trying to get yourselves killed?', or there even was one where where she lectured them with, 'You've scarred your little brother forever! I won't doubt if he becomes afraid of spiders for the rest of his life!' She was right with that last one, but even still, it was fun to see Ron's face when his Teddy Bear turned into a spider.
"I bet she'll be upset at first, give us a talking to about how irresponsible we are," Fred said with a chuckle thinking about his mum and the great fun Georgie and he had with her, and her lectures (which he almost missed a little... but just a little if any), "But, then she'll get excited and ask about what we'll name our child, and begin telling you all about the greatness of having a child, and the symptoms you'll have. It should be fun."

Oh...Molly's lectures. She'd been getting letters about them for years; she'd somehow managed to avoid them up until then. She was sure that she'd feel like a teenager getting lectures like that, though...not that her own parents had ever really lectured her. Their disciplinary measures had been much more physical and scarring, resulting in Lisa almost always wearing long sleeves. It was embarrassing to explain the scars all over her arms.
"I think I dread the pregnancy talk more than the lecture," she admitted with a laugh. "Though it'll still be better than anything my maman would have said."

Fred felt glad that he didn't have her parents, and resentful that he couldn't do anything to get her away from those parents, because then she might not have to have suffered all that he parents did to her. Fred just wanted to get her mind off of them, and get to the positive; that would work, at least for now... he hoped.
"Oh, I'm sure that the pregnancy talk won't be that bad... unless she goes into detail," Fred said with a shutter, before laughing softly, "And then if Ginny gets wind of this, she probably won't stop sending you letters, asking how you are, and how the kid's doing. Should be interesting."

Fred had clearly never sat through Madame Pomfrey's all-girl's "Health Class." If he had, he would realize that the pregnancy talk would be plenty bad...should she warn him? Oui...she should. It wouldn't be fair to send him into that talk unaware of how awkward it could be. She'd been blindsided by Madame Pomfrey's class, for sure.
"Uh, Fred...it's pretty bad. And awkward," she reassured him. She smiled when he mentioned Ginny. "Your sister's nice; I don't think I'd mind. Jak'll probably refuse to talk to me for weeks after I tell her."
Oh, how she dreaded telling her little sister...

Awkward Schmawkward! Fred was the master of awkward... sometimes! He really didn't know what exactly to expect, but he was sure it would be fine. There was just a kid growing inside of her; A little Freddie Jr. or Fredette. It couldn't be that awkward, right? Needless to say, Fred wasn't that ready, in all actuality, to have a kid, no matter how excited he really was.
"It can't be as bad as the lecture of '91. Birds and the Bees. Dad's face through it all was priceless," Fred replied with a laugh at the memory of his father's face turning extremely red with embarrassment, "I'm sure she'll get over it, your sister, I mean, eventually."
