The idea of Arthur Weasley trying to explain the birds and the bees was a little ludicrous, she had to admit. She could imagine how awkward it must have been for Arthur, especially trying to explain it to the twins. They turned just about everythin into a joke, even when they weren't together. George was a little less likely to on his own than Fred was, though; Fred Weasley was, undoubtably, a handful.
"Your poor father," she mumbled with a laugh. She sighed and shrugged as if to ask what she was to do at the mention of Jak. "I know that she'll eventually get over it, but it'll take a while. You know how Jak can be..."
Stubborn. Spiteful. Damned irritating...

It was a very hilarious conversation. He and George made constant perverted jokes through the whole conversation (what other kind of joke could one make during that conversation?), to the point their dad tried to split them apart to see if it worked. It just turned out even worse. It took their mother coming in and giving them that frightening glare each time they were about to crack a joke. That worked mostly, though by the end of it, he and George had to de-gnome the garden for their bad behavior. Deep down Fred understand what they were saying and he was sure George did too, but it was hilarious to make their father so red in the face. Ah good times, good times.
"You should've seen his face by the end of it," Fred laughed before sending her a huge grin, "Ah, I'll just win her over with my Weasley Charm. The girls' can't resist it."
He knew that he wouldn't be able to 'charm' her over to his side for a long time, but he might as well keep optimistic about it!

She'd actually never gotten "the talk." Her parents had never really cared enough to give it. Lisa was pretty sure that they had always hoped that Lisa and Jak ran away and married rich guys. Or at the very least, ran away and got married. Lisa was pretty sure that Jak would marry Jared della'Rosa, anyway, and he was pretty rich. Her little sister would always be taken care of. That made Lisa happy since she'd pretty much raised Jak. Incidentally, Lisa had been the one giving The Talk a few years ago. Not very fun...
"I can imagine!" she replied, laughing a little. "Erm...Fred. The Weasley Charm won't work on my sister. She's pretty much immune."
Mostly because Jak was immune to all types of charm, save Jared's. Lisa suspected that it was because Jared was the eldest son of a woman that the rest of the world thought was a demon and definitely showed it when he was angry.

Yeah, he had a feeling his Weasley Charm wouldn't work very well. But he could at least try, right? There was never anything that if he put his mind to it, he wouldn't accomplish. He knew that Jak wasn't the sort of person who would succumb to his awesome Weasley powers. Fred wanted Jak to see that Lisa liked him, and that he was a fun guy to be around, and while he did joke around, he could be serious when he wanted to be (which didn't happen that often, though when he was in danger or his friends and family were in danger it, he was quite serious).
"I might as well try!" Fred exclaimed happily, "Plus, I bet that as long as you're happy, she'll eventually just get over it."

Eventually, yes. Eventually Jak would get over a lot of things...it was the immediate future that worried Lisa. She didn't have family besides her little sister, Fred and George; she hoped that Jak didn't start refusing to talk to her. She tried not to show it, but she got really homesick sometimes, and falling out of contact with Jak wouldn't help...not that she'd ever say any of that out loud. She didn't need Fred fussing over her when he had so much else to be worried about; she was fine. Homesickness passed.
"Oh, oui, she'll get over it," she agreed. "It'll just take a while...and a lot of convincing on my part."

Fred didn't want Jak to not talk with Lisa. Lisa was someone who he cared about, and he knew that she cared a lot about Jak. If Jak refused to talk to Lisa, then Fred might have try and take some action on the situation, though he doubted he would help. He didn't want Lisa to feel sick, even homesick.
"At least there's that. I don't want to come between you and your sister," Fred said, really not wanting to do so, as he wanted her to have her family, and if it was possible at the same time have his family eventually.

"She's prickly, ma soeur," Lisa shrugged. "She won't stay made at me for long. I just have to wait until she gets tired of being angry. It'll be fine."
As much as Lisa liked Fred's family, her own natural shyness and the general dynamic they'd always had usually caused her to feel very awkward around them. Having not come from a real family, she didn't know how to act around very close-knit ones like the Weasleys. She was sure that she'd eventually get used to them...at least she hoped that she would. She'd gotten used to Fred, George and Charlie, after all.
